Depends on spec, some like more Haste than Crit.

But always: SP > Crit and/or Haste > Int > Spir > Stam.

SP is always number one, Crit and Haste are important, but which is more depends on spec.
Int is very meh.

For example: Deathchill Cloak is among the best out there and offers zero base stats. :)

Since he's level 33, Int is certainly more than meh. It's downright useful, in fact. Not sure what you're leveling as, OP, but I'd recommend crit being your main focus if it's fire. Crit is mana efficiency and killing efficiency while SP just ups your killing efficiency while not returning mana.

Arcane and Frost here. I can't stand Fire and with Patch, Arcane outDPS's it so I dropped it entirely.

If you enjoy making things go BOOM then yes, Crit is your godsend. And at your level you won't find much good for Crit or SP so yeah, Int is your primary. I was more focusing on level 70+

a Little update, 36 now and changed to spellpower>crit>INT and I went from avg 250-400dmg pyros to 750-925 pyros on mobs 2 lvls higher. I may not be able to control the crowds yet but I was shocked by the dmg increase I got in return but I sacrificed a ton of mana.

Finnaly got the dagger from Doan in the library SM, and now I run that with the 12+ spellpower orb, and its just sick for my lvl. I can't wait to be dropping 12k+ crits like my fellow 80 mage brothers!

I have a suggestion. Stack int for the lower levels and hit up Frost spec. When I switched from fire to frost my levelling time dipped like a rookie in a jetfighter.
It was painful to level before, but now I'm a surviving, killing machine. 35 levels in one week ftw.

I have a 71 mage and i found that the best way to level them was to spec fire and consintrate on int until about 40-42 then try to get all the crit and sp u can get

Hey guys Ration here with an update.
I dinged 42 a couple days ago and finally swapped to frost to see the difference. I wasn't as happy with the frost spec as my raw dmg was lower and I was haveing freeze break early issues, so I switched back to raw spellpower and fire spec. I finally broke 1100 off a combustion >double scorch >Pyroblast. The term "Glass Cannon" seems true as I only have 800HP.

I will list a post of my gear soon to see what you guys think.

Having fun, and loving mage.
