OK I'm quite pissed right now cause whenever I'm in a BG and I ask what am I doing wrong all they say is: dude your gear s sub-par. I can understand that, but how did they get to where they are now, it's not like their gear just poped out their ***, how and where did they get it, they never say. This is my thought: they ran AV or WSG sat in a corner and did nothing until they had 368 000 honor points, thats what it cost to get full brutal and some of the other parts to complete pvp gear. Now I'm going to be doing this for the rest of my life to get to that point. What's the best way to get honor points??? I'm dying here please help.

It's the raid instance that you can go into when your side owns wintergrasp.

Vault of Archavon and Vault of Emelon I believe are the two in there now.

Like Anobix said, LOTS of honor farming. If you play quite a bit over a BG weekend you can hit the honor cap (75k honor) in 2-3 days. I would do a hefty mix of the holiday BG and with a few of each of the other BGs to get all my marks up. Make sure you do WG 2-3 times a day and get all the dailies done.

Also if you can farm naxx 25 it's good to pick up the emblems of valor for a couple pieces.

Nice, thanks guys that helps a lot. Are the BG weekends posted somewhere so I can know when they are coming?

You can look at the calendar on worldofwarcraft.com or just look at your in-game calendar.

You can also, generally, just ask in Trade chat.

Also, once you start to get decent gear you can get an Arena team and start saving up points to get the gear faster and, potentially, getting the best PvP gear available.

ALLRIGHT I got my first piece of hateful, question before I ***** up something: What are the priorities for geming and enchants? (if it can help, I will be going frost once I get gear)

PS: today is the best day I had in BGs, alliance never lost a single game yet. In AB we 5 capped for the first time in my life.

Lots of mages like haste for frost

I found little difference between 550 resilience and 900 resilience. If you don't play right you'll get smashed, so you might as well gem for offense. Haste because pillars are the devil and you want to get those frostbolts off quick. Also stack enough haste so you can land 5 ice lances on a deep freeze target (with icy veins up).

Lately I've been doing BGs as arcane, it's alot easier to play and it destroys targets quickly. Of course it's WAY squishier then frost but in WoTLK I think burst damage beats survivability any day of the week, especially in zergfest BGs. In arena I would still go frost for the most part (depends on team).
