So I read the stickies and I've been searching online but I want some opinions, that are recent, and spoken from experience.
I want to know what is the best pet for arena specifically, if there's a difference in 2's, 3's, 5's, please feel free to give me all the tips you know. What are your experiences? What do you use? Where did you get him? Whats his name?

Good idea , but to tell the truth i had not even noticed any name on the FAQ as the info is and was still my main interest , and anyone that thinks a FAQ is only done by one person is a ( insert your expletive here ) and hardly worth taking any notice of anyway .

Both of the hunters I have that are named Æthien are female as well >.>
Oh, and I am very dissapointed that apparently wolverine and a sub rogue are better pets than I am

I know that, actually, it completely slipped my mind though. Oh well, it's just a temporary pet until I can grab that white bat for her.
(The crab is growing on me, though--its little clicks and wheezes are so cute!) I generally refuse to refer to people by the gender of their characters anyway, because it leads to too many awkward situations.

I blatantly stole the idea from the mages.
Also I feel a druid would make an excellent arena pet. It would be like having 2 or more pets at the same time.

Hey Æthien check out this hunter i had in a Naxx-25 semipug last night http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Bladefist&n=Acostae his character sheet made my eyes burn. I was on my druid at the time so he wouldnt listen to any of my suggestions

Well from my conversation with him it wasnt the sp on the gear that he needed it was the Stam and Int because he believed Careful aim and Hunter Vs. Wild would give him more ap then straight agi.

I still don't understand how hunters can only be doing 500 DPS at 80. I was doing at least 700 DPS when I was gearing for Kara, and easily at 2k+ when I was in SW. I guess 10 levels, 10 more talent points, new talents, pet talents, and exponentially more AP doesn't make up for stupidity.
I did 2.6k dps on Noth25 the other night.
In my sexy gear, which consists of lvl 40ish cloth greens (stam/spirit stuff), lvl 70 cloth dps shoulders and some lvl 15ish greens.
Although I was still wearing my bow, trinkets , necklace and rings.
