I was an 80 mage, but my pc blew up just before 3.1 hit, so i just want to know whats changed.
Has our dps gotten worse? I was FFB spec.... the bog standard one no fancy stuffs. But now spirit is more important. Which means im SCREWED. Also, could anyone with RAWR please import my character and take a look at what dps i should be doing with current gear? you dont have to, ide just appreciate it very much.

Well, it's going to be hard to accurately tell you what dps you should be doing if you haven't played at all since 3.1 came out. Everyone's talents have been refunded several times since the patch, so you won't have any talents. According to Rawr, Arcane does nearly 200 more dps than Frostfire does now, but Rawr isn't completely accurate. It also says that the Glyph of Molten Armor doesn't increase your dps any, which of course we all know it does, otherwise we wouldn't use it.

Ah right, thanks anyways, its good to know that i dont have to spend another 50g to fix everything. I was thinking about going back to arcane when i get the game back, but im going on the assumption that it still has mana issues, even if they arent as bad as they used to be, so this is making me thinking about just leveling another character and using my mage as a farming character, cause i was a bit bored before my pc blew up. But ill definately look at my mage again, see if any of the old fun is still there.

Thanks for the info.

arcane rarely has mana issues, atleast you shouldnt. for an arcane mage evocation is 2 mins. you can gain more spirit for mana regen/crit and mage armor gives 50 percent regeneration to mana. I love being an arcane mage.
