Mediocre mageFollow

I've checked my gear, my stats, my spec (and worked with a bunch of them), my rotation. I've researched it all.

Whatever the reason, and right now I'm assuming I'm not getting to my key bindings quickly enough (used to be a clicker). My dps still needs a lot of work. I'm only pushing 2.5 - 3k dps with equally geared mages (some FFB spec, some arcane) who are pushing 5 k dps.

So, for now I have glyphs of living bomb, scorch, and FFB. I figure, if the other mages do much more dps (even when I was arcane spec) then the least I can do is be the scorch b*tch.

But we do have some locks who raid with imp shadowbolt. (It's about a 50/50 chance we'll have this in a raid) So I'm wondering if I should get rid of the scorch glyph and go with molten armor.

What do you think is the best choice for a mediocre mage trying to improve?

Replacing the scorch glyph with molten armor would be the easiest way to increase your dps. Especially when you often run with warlocks.

Other than that just make sure all your gear is properly gemmed and enchanted, and that you prioritize your stats properly.

If you want to link your armory and a WWS/WMO parse we can take a look at it. I would replace imp scorch glyph with molten armor. You get more dps out of molten armor and casting scorch x5 than other way around.
