In raids im getting to around the 3200 to 3500 DPS mark but i see other SV Hunters doing a lot more that that like 5-6500 DPS. My Shot rotation is Black Arrow>Serpent Sting>Explosive Shot>Steady Shot>Steady Shot>Explosive Shot. I Keep up Black Arrow and Serpent Sting and i'll fit in Kill Shot and Multi Shot after Steady when i can. I have decent gear and am Hit Capped actually over.Im 14/57 Sv Build and Glyphs are Explosive-Steady and Serpent. Is it my shot rotation ? Any insight would be great something not right i don't think. I use Add-ons for Lock and Load Proc (which i always go to when proc's) and to track my cool downs on Serpent and Black. Any insight would be helpful.

Hummm I dont kill with my Fishing Pole either i use Black Ice The armory shows Fishing pole sorry.
For SV you should be using a shot priority rather then a rotation. If you check the Help me thread this has been discussed.

Yes it is just a guide but like you stated it is priority being that i keep ba and Serpent up all the time as priority 1 and than explosion shot and steady and multi next as fillers. I do have a question on kill shot though i see a lot of people say to use in there rotation but it only is usefull when target is less than 20%.I always use thais at that time. So how would i use in rotations.

What the ****? Besides the fact that your question makes no sense, you obviously don't even know how Kill Shot works.

What the @#%^? Besides the fact that your question makes no sense, you obviously don't even know how Kill Shot works.
I think when he says rotation he means shot rotation macro, or is asking us how he should program his hunterbot. Honestly I am not sure which.

Ok before 3.1 i had a shot rotation i had a specific order in which i did my shots. Now the sticky says priority. So i guess what im asking is there any kind of order to this besides keeping up ba>serpent>than ex. and just filling in with steady and multi and kill and prioritizing lock and load when it proc's. Sorry if wasn't clear on the question. No need to flame me.
Priority=This shot is up, use it first. This other shot is up, use it second. Etc. You have to utilize shots out of the "order" that happened with rotations. I just posted it in another thread, but the priority is:
Kill->Black Arrow->Explosive->Serpent->Aimed/Multi->Steady
Fire those in order from left to right. Nothing else to it.

I find a slight increase in DPS prioritising Explosive over Black arrow:
Kill Shot > Explosive Shot > Black Arrow > Serpent > Aimed Shot > Multi Shot > Steady Shot
The chance of black arrow proccing LnL in the 1.5 seconds is tiny.

to really get some help, if you posted a report of whatever boss you are fighting then they could help pick out what is going on.
Another question I have is if you are using any other support type of macros, like one that fires off Steady Shot while activating trinkets, rapid fire, etc. If you keep spamming this type of macro blizz's keylogger will keep firing the macro off causing you to miss CD times on you other priority shots. Also if you did use this type of macro make sure that you are only activating spells or abilities off the GCD, that will also mess with your DPS.
