I was grinding honor for the PVP trinket with higher resil (I currenly only have the lvl 70 one with 20 resil). My thinking was although it's alot of honor for a lil resil buff in a sense it it free resil (meaning I am not sacrificing another stat for the resil buff like I would with a gem or enchant change).
Since the patch however we have the new WG trinkets so the resil isn't free anymore.
I plan on getting the plus hit one and moving some of hit gems into agility or ap.
My other trinket is the anvil of titans but today I will turn in nobles deck.
So I most likey will run new WG hit trinket and Nobles.
What do you guys think? Do you like one of the other trinkets better?

I'm well over hit cap with 2pc T7.5 and weapons.
Hell, I'm probably going to resocket my T7.5 pants away from hit and more towards AP because I'm so far over the cap.
BTW, I much prefer the new WG use trinket over a trinket that has a random proc. Much more useful in arena.
Edit: and yeah, if you're Engi and don't have GLG/hand rockets, you're a ******.

Currently the only gear from my pve set that I wear in pvp is throwing weapons slot. I will look into some of my offset pieces (is that the right term boots, belt, wrists etc) and see what I can come up with. Currently I think my hit is in 130s from gems. Is the 2 pc PVE bonus 10% rupture dmg better than the 4 pc pvp set 10 energy? Also I run with a boomkin if that helps. As I begin to sub in PVE gear for PVP gear is there a resil floor I should keep in mind? Currently 620-660 resil I think. I would post an armory link but it will only show 1 set of gear rather than all options I have.

Edit: 130 hit isn't enough.
I personally have plenty of hit, to the point where I'm over the cap. I have T7.5 head/legs, but I'm still at ~190 something hit.
What daggers are you using? Also, what boot enchant?
I may end up gemming a few hit gems, but it's not worth losing so much AP just to take a hit rating trinket. I'd rather gem and enchant hit instead of wasting 15 WG marks.

I hope you know it wasn't me that wanted the win counter back on your sig. I just assumed you didn't want it up after they lost (hence my jab). But I'll still bet you a shiny nickel that the Cavs will have more x's than the Wings if I were to make one!

I have LPC and Titansteel Shanker
I found that if I switch out Titansteel Boots of Triumph for Boots of the Neverending Path I go from 118 to 176 hit and only drop from 622 to 574. So I think I will just do that for now and go with the AP trinket
I live about 70 miles south of Pittsburgh so thouroughly enjoyed lasts years SCF watching my wings beat the Pens. Actually hoping for a reapeat of that series. But it doesnt matter I think Wings are pretty strong.

Won't happen, the Caps or the Bruins (or maybe even the Canes) are much better than the Pens this year.
The Pens got by mostly on how well Hossa played in the playoffs (at least, some of the clutch plays he made), and now the Wings have him, sooooooo!
