Need an item for 39 hitFollow

I'm about 39 hit away from being capped and wanted to find an item for tonight's raid. Can anyone suggest something? I'm looking for an item which could be crafted or ah bought mainly. I have the ebonweave gloves right now, and would prefer not to buy/craft the ebonweave robe. I'd like to find it from another slot.

Here's my armory if you'd like that too. Any other gear upgrade suggestions are always welcome too, my gear is still pretty low in some spots. There should be room for lots of upgrades!

Thanks.

Maybe Icewalker(+12) to boots, eternal belt buckle with +16 hit to belt, and Accuracy to your fishing pool (+25) >.>

That last one was a joke, you can't even enchant a fishing pool. I tried many times. There's a +20hit to gloves if you're willing to lost 28 spellpower. Depending on your funds, you could go +9sp/+8hit on a few gems.

Edit: You can go farm up some more Ebon Hold rep for the cape(+29), I believe it requires honored.

What weapon are you using? You do know the hit cap with talents is 289 (11%)

If you are using a dkp system i'd save for Dying Curse, you need a lot of stuff from everywhere though.

I took a guess on what kind of weapon you have, This should be easy to get

Well, it appears I may need that Ebonweave Robe after all. :) I'm using the hammer of the astral plane (not sure of exact name) off Kel in Naxx 10. I have thought about JC...I just hate to drop Alch after putting work into leveling it to 450. I have an alt with JC about 150 though. Are you suggesting JC that my toon would need to have, or could I get whatever you're thinking of with an alt having it?

Now that I have the info, I'm gonna check out those links your provided, ty!

JC has a +42hit tricket that also has 2 sockets and you can equip up to three +27 hit gems. Both of these require the JC profession. You don't have to pick up JC to get hit capped, it's just much easier.

Edit: I saw one of them typo thingies.

My suggestion for JC had nothing to do with your original question. But it will add to your DPS a lot more than alchy can. If you aren't huge into min/maxing you don't have to pick it up =) The JC only gems are pretty amazing. Better than epics and can get you some socket bonus that you might not have gotten because it normally would be a waste.

and the Trinket azelia mentioned.

I got The 5 Ring at the AH for my off spec, but you need deep pockets.

Would you guys get the Plush Sash of Guzbah, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40696 or the Sundial of the Exiled, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40682 first?

I have 40 badges and am not sure, ultimately I'd like to get a nice DPS boost, which I think the trinket would be better for?

The trinket hands down

Cincture of PolaritySash of the Servant/Titan-forged Cord of Salvation

Now that I think about it there are a lot of options for belts out there, I wouldn't even buy that belt.

edit: thanks for showing me how to imbed them.

I just opened up another browser window and surfed over to wowhead.com...then I just copy and pasted the URL into my message. I'm sure there's easier and more simpler methods but I haven't figured them out yet. Thanks for the advice though.

Type the name witht he url tags linking to the item on this site around it.

Example:

Cincture of Polarity is written as...

Well, I got that trinket, Sundial of the Exiled.

I replaced this, Mercurial Alchemist Stone. Was that the right move or should I have replaced my other trinket, The Egg of Mortal Essence.

I asked a guildie and he told me they were both, "Horrible DPS trinkets". lol. I figured out how to properly link items too, WOOT!

I did the same. I kept my alchemist stone for my disc spec, and have the Sundial for when I am shadow.

i'm gonna ask a supernoob question here - is hit cap that important? I just got dual spec, and have gone shadow offspec for funsies and soloing daily stuff. Primary is Holy and I have pretty good gear, but no hit rating. Zero.

Running a couple of HC's the other night, and I asked my Shammy friend, who had resto as offspec if he'd like to swap for HC DTK. He's like, ok, so off we go.

Now, I wasnt expecting anything incredible, but my dps (according to recount) was around 1700-2100, across the instance, peaking at bosses obviously. At times, I was out doing the dps spec'd and equipped retadin and huntard in the group.

so - how high would my dps be if i was hit capped? Is 2000 even good for a HC geared healer on off-spec?

Armoury

Saintly - i think the armoury is down atm tho.

he he - it was a LOT of fun though :)

For a holy priest playing shadow on his off spec, 2000 is good.

You can pretty easily add hit, but you may lose some spell power doing it. You aren't going to see miraculous changes by working on your hit, but you may add a couple hundred dps. Definately work on it with rep gear, drops, etc.

My suggestion for your hit issue would be to replace the Solitaire ring with the crafted blue one called Ring of Northern Tears.

I probably will do that. If I can get the Ring of Northern Tears and the trinket from H VH that will put me hit capped. It will suck to lose the spellpower, but we're hopefully doing a Naxx 25 run tonight so maybe I can pick up spellpower there.
