The penance thing annoys me a bit. I shelled out 120g for that glyph for 2 seconds off the cool down. 5% crit doesn't seem to be worth it in my opinion

I mean, shaving off 40% of the effective cooldown (8 seconds, after talents, less the 3 seconds channeled, leaving 5 seconds cool down. 2/5= 40% reduction)

The crit will be handy, and I won't replace, but man, it was really handy having it on a 3-second effective CD.

Soul warding is less annoying, but I don't have trouble with mana unless I'm on timed CoS.

Divine Hymn did seem really, really, powerful. I've popped that in bad situations when I was in my shadow spec and those life bars just flew up.

Well...technically, you were shaving 1.6 seconds off the cooldown if you spent two talent points to reduce it. The reductions stacked multiplicatively, not arithmetically. But yeah, I preferred the first version.

The Soul Warding change hurts PVP discipline, since we now usually survive long enough to run out of mana.

I was just beginning to appreciate the awesomeness of the new Divine Hymn, and will mourn its loss, but yeah, it did seem to be a pretty amazing panic button.

However, as nerfs go, these aren't too bad. We won't have to completely reconfigure our gear or builds.

To be fair, divine hymn was pretty overpowered. We'd have 3 priests blow it at the end of mimiron p2 all at the same time and you'd get the whole raid to 100% mana near enough. Its still a very decent spell in all fairness.

Oh, and btw, they took out that pennance glyph change. Rejoice!

In think you're talking either talking about Hymn of Hope (restores mana to 3 lowest) or ment to say health instead of Mana

Divine Hymn is like the "oh crap, we're all going to die!" spell.

Ah yes, you're right, my bad. Well either way, both were a little too good.
