about hitFollow

So, im really confused about how much hit is needed. Elitist jerks site, has a nice table, but in other threads ive read it hasnt been updated to the actual values.

So i know you need 8% hit for specials, so my question is, does the char screen incorporate the 3% from precision? Ive seen some people say it doesnt, and that you only need it to say 5% with 3/3 precision, and others say it does and you need it to say 8%, and i just dont know who to trust.

Ya, i definitely meant precision. Ive read through so many posts the last few days, now im getting everything mixed up. Thanks for the answer mate :)
