The ONLY thing that can touch a paladin in bubble is mass dispel. That's it.

By that logic, would Death Grip be able to work on a paladin?

Actually Shattering Throw works too, but the tooltip doesn't say "Immune to everything except Mass Dispel and Shattering Throw" People have to ask to find out what the exceptions are, you yourself it would appear, do not know everything

You moron!

Then we get into the problem of boss abilities that can damage and kill you inside Divine Shield, and how Seal of Blood recoils through it.

Divine Shield isn't perfect. And as I mentioned before, a paladin's own Hand of Reckoning worked on invincible targets up until it was removed from PvP entirely.

Interrupting bubble hearths with a taunt, and then bubble hearthing myself and watching them not know how I did it was so, so mean.

Yes, Shattering Throw does work.

My bad for forgetting something that I've never seen a warrior use and was introduced in the last patch.

I can't believe I'm going to do this... but... I fully endorse Theo's facepalm and "nerdrage".

The paladin bubble (At least Divine Shield) makes you immune to EVERYTHING (except mass dispel and a few rare boss mechanics that I can't recall).

A simple look at the spell will tell you this, although I'm going to safely assume you've never leveled a paladin high enough to have any idea the name of the skill (which is fine, I can't name the majority of warrior skills, for example).

Theo's response wasn't really rude. Just stating the obvious. I have a hard time realizing how you could get high enough to make a death knight and not realize that paladin bubbles make you immune. Unless you haven't participated in much PvP.

Honestly , I LIKE the change to Death's Grip. Many ranged classes use harder to access areas to SURVIVE. For example an elemental shaman in WSG standing on the roof. It completely negated any chance they had against the death knight if they can tear them straight off the roof....

Doesn't mean I didn't know about it.

Suck-up.

We already went through that and mentioned other abilities that aren't blocked by Divine Shield. Also, you're just repeating Theo and my response would be the same: it's all very obvious if you've played the game for a long time, but if all you have to go by is tooltips and spell descriptions, it's confusing as hell.

A simple look at the spell will tell you that it is some kind of magical shield, like Power Word: Shield or Mana Shield. Looking at the flashy colors won't tell you that this is a shield that will make the Paladin immune to spells and damaging attacks. Looking at the spell description would tell you this, but as mentioned before, the description/tooltip is really poorly written.

And that's all in one thread. This one. So, I'll ask again: did you read the entire thread?

That was hard to find. Smiley: rolleyes

Also, if you've EVER done PvP, you would know that.

Already looked up Divine Shield on Wowhead (as you can see above). The comments are a big bundle of wtf, but most people, like you, claim that Divine Protection works against everything (except Mass Dispel).

Which, as also seen above, isn't entirely true.

So, if you as a long-time player and, dare I say, hardcore PvP enthusiast, forgot about Shattering Throw, why are you insulting people for not knowing if Death Grip works on Divine Shield?

But all of this is irrelevant. This is a forum dedicated to helping players find their way around in a game. If a question bothers you, don't answer it. There is absolutely no reason to reply with snide and demeaning remarks.

And it's all good telling people to go find the information on other websites, but what if everyone just said that all the time? Go look it up at Wowhead. Go check Elitistjerks. Go to the official boards.

If we have to go to those sites to find our information, what the hell is the purpose of this site then?

Maybe this is the root of the problem. Assuming that everyone likes or plays pvp because it it's part of the game. My priest never, ever, pvped (ok so id heal a BG here and there). I think I had a total of um 50 resilience at one point.

Anyhow, having to continually read more of this thread is getting old.

Are you *********************

Shattering Throw was added LAST PATCH.

So of course a spell that's been around for AS LONG AS WOWHEAD HAS EXISTED would have comments about how Mass Dispel is the only thing to remove it--BECAUSE THAT WAS TRUE AT THE TIME.

Hey, I know Mazra; why don't you actually look at when the comments were made, or is that too hard for your feeble mind?

I have a question, is it possible to make someone's default karma setting as "sub-default?"

Outdated comments are still outdated, Theo.

And you still forgot Shattering Throw. Smiley: wink

redbarron, I decided quite independently of Theo that you were just a troll.

And you have yet to make me think otherwise. So, I will continue to rate you down until you go away.

But, I'll still look at the content of your post before hand. I highly doubt anything you type will ever get a rate-up from me, judging from past experience, but if it is way above your average (and almost okay by this forum's standard), I'll leave you be.

It takes WAY more than Theo to make someone's normal post setting default. Believe me, more people than him have issues with you. He just vocalizes them more.

Maz. Those drawing are awesome. Please pick some other random spells/classes and make more of these. Wow simplified to stickman!

On topic of Boxers. I picked up some fashion info from GF's friends.. something tight thats shows the package seems to be in increasing demand with the female population..

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed my 20-or-so minutes of keyboard facerolling in an attempt to make those drawings. I used [pre][/pre] to make them, otherwise the spacing would mess up, so you need to insert the tags in the quote, I think.

I'll see about making a stickman version of something, but I have to admit, I'm not the creative type.

And I'm a boxers guy as well. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
