Im not usually a tanking druid but while soloing the raptor boss for the first time since the patch, it went much smoother. Usually I have to jump off the platform and heal several times. I was able to kill him without switching out of bear form at all today. Savage defense has made this encounter easier for me it seems. But the raptor boss does have a very slow attack speed, and Im guessing that against multiple mobs and fast attacks, the lost armor would probably fare better.

Just don't over pull the stunning hammer guys, they suck.

Also I get lost every time I go in there.

WTB sense of direction.

Oh yes. The hammer guys are by far the worst part of the instance. I only go in for the raptor now. Probably 20 tries already and no luck. I quit doing the fish boss after I got my first turtle book and saw how much the price had dropped for them on my server. I only successfully took down the tiger boss once, after respecing just for him. And I think I just got really lucky at that. I dont even bother with anything but the raptor now though. And I'm really getting tired of it. But its by far my favorite ally mount in the game, so I'll keep on keeping on.
