I had a look at the priest's forum page and saw that the majority of posters were happily surprised at their post-patch mana regen. Seems mostly it is a non-issue for them.

How are boomkin and trees coping?

I'm pretty sure my 5SR regen went up slightly (don't ask, I don't know), and I really wasn't breaking the rule enough in the first place.

If anything I feel as though I have more mana (again, I don't know).

INC nerfs I'd imagine.

Seems fine to me, even when things got tight and I used some rather inefficient spells. (by that I mean I dazed off in a medicated stupor then realized I was actually still playing wow and needed to heal someone)

The sky did not fall.

Now to learn this feral thing for my offspec... my dps is deplorable. At least my saving grace is I WANT to heal, I LOVE to heal, and most of the time that is what people like me doing. (even when I get into a medicated stupor)

I don't seem to have any problem's at all, but I'm only lvl 79 yet. In CoS my mana always remained around 80%, except for the last boss. I really enjoy all the changes.

My in combat MP5 remains untouched (if not has increased). Out of combat, who cares? That's what water & mage food is for. My gripe is with the LB changes, it's upheaved my comfort zone for healing. And I didn't even stack on more than two tanks! It's like forcing yourself to do something when every bone in your body says otherwise. My finger sits on that mouse, itching to apply stacks beyond three.

I cry in a corner, in a fetal position, mumbling "Must roll the lifebloom, must roll the lifebloom". My wife is even considering keeping me in the basement and feeding me PB&J and Pizza Rolls until I readjust. Smiley: lol

The tree feels fine :)

I never spent that much time out of the 5-second casting timer anyway, so the "nerf" was mostly a non-factor for me. Add in the fact I'm almost always working with several pallies (yay for replenishment + BoW :D), and mana seems to flow freely.

I can only remember a single time we've wiped because I've gone OOM and that was healing a melee-heavy pug group on Mage-Lord Urom in Oculus... and that fight went on quite a while...

The lifebloom changes are taking some getting used to, any movement-heavy fights are a bit harder for me now. I liked being able to stack LB while running, now it becomes a mana-drain. :(

Boomkin ~ Fine, not a single problem at all. The only times I came close to going oom was on deconstructer when I was using typhoon and hurricane on adds. 3k mana is a huge ******* chunk of your mana pool :(

Tree ~ I actually went resto again for 10 man uld and my mana was fine. I was still using lifebloom and I was rather surprised at how inneffective the change really was because I could still roll blooms on a tank and not worry.

I did find myself using nourish a whole hell of a lot more.

If you're raid healing, use it still. When it blooms you get more than half (I believe, would have to double check) the mana you spent returned to you.

Yes, Lifebloom returns half the mana back to you when it blooms.

Though its kind of sketchy if the final bloom, which hits for retarded high amounts, will actually mean something in a raid.

If there are fights where you know you can time the bloom then more power to you.

I watched our main druid healer crit bloom for 16-17k which is insane if you ask me. Can you say W/D 2's is making a comeback?

I know it returns the mana, but I believe it's half the cost without factoring in talents, tree form, etc. so you end up getting a slight gain.

This nerf was really just intended towards tank healing with LB, and I feel it was totally fair in that regard. Very few people, if anyone, would have been timing the bloom to raid heal. I just toss it out on the warlock, all over during Saph, if a melee took one second too long to get out of the whirlwind but I'm too busy trying to heal the one who lagged and can't move.

I'm also just not smart enough to plan out nine seconds ahead of time.

Loathab comes to mind, but really haven't noticed any bossfight where it's really needed.

Two fights come to mind. Malygos and Deconstructor.

Maly for vortetx.

Deconstructor if you use dbm it will tell you when tantrums are coming and who is about to get bombed.

LB is still perfect for hitting the people in the grobbulus fight who get the debuff. A triple cast as soon as they get the debuff and they are back to full health almost as soon as they drop the poison cloud.
