I was wondering shouldnt hunter's pets also get some sort of armor other van effect their stats?
Maybe they should, try asking Blizzard.

This is the only pet model wearing "clothes". It would be nifty if we could get armor for pets that would boost them in different ways, sadly.... we dont.

That would be pretty cool, even if it didn't effect stats, just to make some pets look cooler. It would be really pointless and a waste of time though.

Actually for skins, the wolf was the fourth pet to have armor...

These boars were awesome IMO, and I had one for a long time. Still like the rotting agamar, I liked the bone look of the armor...

To address the issue of armor potentially effecting pets: Pet stats are already effected by hunter stats. Armor would probably be purely vanity, but sadly, Blizzard has never been big on vanity. It hasn't been until pretty recently that very many vanity items have been added to the game.

It would be pretty cool to see the talent pet barding actually put armor on your pet's skin.... someone should complain to Blizz about this!

Looks like that just happened. Although I don't think blizz is going to do something about it. But it's a cool idea anyway.
