keyboard layout and macrosFollow

I admit I have been playing for a bit, but I sometimes feel like a nub. I am dual specced warrior, arms and prot, but I feel like I am not doing the job and I think its due to my keyboard layout and macros(I have none) could someone give me an idea for setting up my keyboad layout and macros for either/each spec?

My current key binding configuration is : Q , E , R , F (I play with A ,W ,D as left forward Right) doing the most common attacks like Slam ,MS,SD ,OP . I also use rend on Tab button. So far , so good. I try to keep things simple at the beggining of my arms career...lol


For an Arms warrior (Restricted to PVE) I m still looking for a usefull tip to macro something.

The ones I looked in Wowwiki are descent but are very circomstancial... eg switching to Zerk stance has no real value in PvE world (Not absolutely sure but from what I read so far) .

Switching weapons macros..also dont help all ppl but the ones that have like 3+ weapoms to select from and play in Naxx-Uldar.IF you have like one sword...then what to swap??

Macro-ing Overpower with Sudden Death sounds interesting but I dont know if its going to be affective or if it is duable also macroing Slam with Mortal Strike sounds also appealing.... but i m still looking a way to pull it and test it.

Generally macroing abilities that require tons of Rage simply may not work well.
Only HC strike could fit somewhere there, but only if it was Rage free ,like after a Revenge in Protection warriors (with the Glyph),... besides that, it simply costs rage to macro it (HS) and might not be available when y want it or could drain your rage when y dont expect to.


Interesting I find the idea to macro with the mouse over function the rend ability and so far has worked only in situations where you know that the tank is going to keep aggro on the mob you are rending and the mobs are not moving which also is circumstantial. Even a noob and low DPS like myself can get into a lot of trouble by rending non skull targets...

So any tips about a macro that provides utility in all cases that works for ARMS PVE toon?
