I was wondering if someone could take a quick look at my gear and spec? This is my first healing class at 80 and I'm worried about entering heroics and failing badly.

Spec can be improved but is decent enough. You've more than enough spellpower but lack some mp5.
You'll be alright, only thing I can see you having problems with is really long 'endurance' bosses (encounters like Skadi might be hard for you).

Just a question, why spellweave? If your main (or friend) is a tailor with spellweave speciality, then I understand.

Well when I used wowhead's weight scale for disc, spellweave came after moonshroud, and besides that Disc priests, I read, need haste as well as crit and int.
You're probably right. I wasn't asking from a stat perspective, more from the perspective of spending so much on craftables that will be quickly replaced. But hey, it's your gold.

1) I've never raided before, and even though i want to, I won't til I'm absolutely ready, so I don't think it'll be replaced too soon. Long enough to get my money's worth out of it.
2) It was supremely cheap. Probably due to half asleep people using the AH :)

I had the same worries at first but I just jumped straight in and healed heroics with 3 craftable epics, one green trinket, and the rest lvl78/80 blues, didn't have any trouble (holy specced).
So far I've done Nexus, UK and AN, easy peasey. I wouldn't worry about it.
Obviously things will get even easier once you start to get a few epic drops.
