Destruction in 3.1 :: Free Realms

Hi,

I have heard so much about that destruction should be imba in 3.1

So now i wanna give it a go. But I have a hard time decinding what spec to use.

Can some one tell me what 3.1 dest. spec you use, or what spec you would use if you should go destruction?

I mainly focus on Battlegrounds and World PvP with my Destruction build. It's a deep Destruction build with points in Demonology for Soul Link. It also sacrifices Cataclysm in order to get Improved Searing Pain, because I just love that little spell in combination with Backdraft, Pyroclasm and Glyph of Searing Pain.

If you don't use Searing Pain all that much, I suggest dumping Improved Searing Pain and Glyph of Searing Pain in order to get Cataclysm or Nether Protection with Glyph of Soul Link instead.

Here's my build, though.

aftermath+conflag+glyph of shadow flame = 12-13seconds every 15 seconds of 50-70% movement speed reduction :D personally I'm loving destro for pvp currently due to this combination as well as chaosbolt which i've always loved ^^ anyways if you want to check my spec/gear etc.. click on the Taoquitok link in my signature

I personally keep most of my points in destruction. I have a few in affliction though, for my curse of agony and curruption. I've found that it's easier to keep most of ur points on one tree and a few in another. I don't even have any/ or very few points twards my demon. If your goin for DPS, then i think that's the way to go. I have High DPS and crit strikes, and mad aggro.

Well since I have played warlock as my first char, and have played for couple of years, I think its a bit harsh to call me dweebs... Guess you have some unsolved issues with locks? :)

But thanks for the replies... I guess, if one just put all the talents in destro, and at the same time have soul link and Master Summoner i am set :)
SO I think I will trade the 3 points ind Pyroclasm in to get the almost instant pet summon, since it will boost my suvrivability in arenas

That is nice destro build,but just to know,if you're planning to 2v2 with a dps then you should try out imp.succy (lose 3 points from Soul Leach) and in 3v3 it's quite nice to have imp.Soul Leach (depending on your comp ofc,but it will always help your healer)
