Dual SpecsFollow

Just currious what the concensus will be for Dual specs. Is everyone Specing Shadow + your healing prefered spec or disc + holy?

or is no one getting the Dual option

Holy + shadow, totally. After falling in love with holy, disc healing just doesn't do it for me anymore, and shadow will be great for dailies and farming.

I already have a full T7 shadow set sans helm, so that decision has already made itself. Plus I wouldn't mind being a DPS priest, we seem to have had a lot of healers join the guild recently and I am keeping my priest as a main, if that means to switch over to shadow when we are heavy on heals, I have no problems with that.

PvE disc and "experimental". I'll use my second spec to try disc/holy combos, holy/shadow combos, anything that sounds like it'll never work.

I've already been bouncing back and forth between Shadow and Holy, this will just make it much cheaper in the long run.

I went from holy to shadow for the 1st time a while back and didnt like it....been holy since day one! So I'm gonna build me a disc spec and start pvp'ing more :)

I'll dual speccing Disc/Holy. I love healing and I'm doing fine questing and levelling as Disc so don't feel the need to spec Shadow.

Alliance: Shadow PvE/Disc PvP. Horde: Disc PvE/Disc PvP.

I'm PVE Disc/PVE Shadow

My Disc armor set is very shadow friendly so I just swap out my groovy staff for the kirin tor dagger and the emblem epic offhand, my belt for a rep reward belt, my gloves for an epic caster set I picked up in VOA and my robe for an ebonweave one and I'm good to go. These gear changes are just to get my hit rating up to the cap. My crit drops a little, spirit a little and intellect and haste goes up a touch but I am hoping to replace some of my haste gear in time to help out with my crit drop which I am feeling.

I also probably need to replace my egg of mortal essence but not sure what to swap it with. At the moment I am ignoring the fact it only procs on heals and just loving the spellpower but I may swap it for an uber crit trinket.

Boy have I changed my mind on this!!!!

On a whim I decided to try shadow again, and I'm not looking back. As a healer I was always in demand for heroics as our server is a lil short of em....so I had over 200 emblems sitting there which I spent on shadow gear from the vendors, then got some talent point advice/rotation advice from a Spriest friend of mine. The difference is WOW! Damn good fun!!

4 Manned a H VH run then picked up a 5th and did H HoS and I led the dps on both runs (Touched 4k dps in VH) Last night joined a 25 man Naxx run and wasnt in the top 5 for most fights but still had 3k dps for most of the run, but most importantly it was SOOOO much more fun than having to worry about everyone elses hp. From this day on I will only go holy when my guild absolutely needs me to. Shadow FTW!!!
