And on top of the "All Questions answered here" thread, there is also a very nice and concise thread about gear.

Well first and foremost, don't worry to much about gear since you're only lvl 45. Still one thing you MUST DO RIGHT NOW is lose your necklace since hunters NEVER NEED SPELL POWER. And you might consider changing out your shoudlers since hunters don't benefit from strength. A better gun/bow might also help, but for what it is, it's not bad.

Then just regarding your spec, and this is just a personal preference, first read up on what tree works best for you and then just stick fully with that tree until you're at the 51 pt talents, then work on the other trees. It seems like you've got quite a mix of different talents, not quite sure what you were going for.
