Frost DKs and BGs.Follow

Note: BGs. Not Arena. His arena rating was just 1760.

Story time:

I was warsonging my ret pally for warsong marks. My pally is still on half-*** gear but I manage, good enough to beat most specs of most classes, just not healers or kiting mages (to counter mages I have to fight them in small rooms). I've seen rogues die of thorns damage trying to kill a friend of mine which is geared almost completely in crafted blues... so I don't care about the goal of soloing a healer.

And I came across an Orc Frost DK which I couldn't beat 1v1. In addition I noticed he charged and solo'd groups of 2-3 teammates. He charged up to 4 teammates killing at least 2 before going down. I must say I was getting pretty similar results when I had a similar spec, unholy pwnz 1v1 but doesn't perform like a crazy terminator in BGs.

You could say the ####er was pummeling my team. Armory check, his gear wasn't that much better than mine, only a small upgrade.

My old spec varied from his in that I was using Imp IT, Blade Barrier and Acclimation at the sacrifice of points in the crit talent, butchery and toughness. But I think his is probably better, but I'm not sure about leaving out imp IT unless he's dedicating his frost runes to something else so that he doesn't get to IT much.

Gear, gems, enchants all str-ap-crit-sta. Cinderglacier rune. Mirror of Truth, Sigil of Haunted dreams (That Sigil kind of sux doesn't it?).

Orc. No professions. I couldn't see his glyphs.

So, uhm... Opinions/Ideas/Suggestions? Frost-Blood to BG and Unholy-Frost to Arena?

Did you give the build a run in BG/Wintergrasp?

I know that wintergrasp isn't exactly balanced, but some builds will perform better than others...

It's definitely a BG only build, after testing, even as double DPS.

It's great for BGs, WG, and world PvP, though.

I would basically CoI -> Oblit -> Oblit (frost rune refresh from glove bonus) -> BS -> BS and 3 people would be dead.

Add FS on KM procs, and you're essentially just critting people for 4-5k constantly (I had something like 60% crit with Oblit).
