just made my first DK char, and started the quests in the noob area. Got through Grand Theft Palomino and, although the quest list still shows a bunch of quests from givers in the noob area, I have no yellow question marks above anyone, other than the spirit rezzer. The Crypt of Rememberance quest listed from the prince is the middle of a quest chain that starts with Gothik the Harvester. Death's Challenge seems to be a pre-req for this chain, but there are no other chains in the keep or outside. Is Death's Challenge a pre-req for all of the quests?

Just found out that yes, it is the unlocker of all future quests. I didn't accept the quest at first, even though I read that Olrun says all DK's MUST do this quest, as I saw another new DK player running around Death's Breach begging for other players to duel him, thought that was the only way to do this quest. Then found out you could just challenge NPC initiates and get your 5 wins.

FYI, DKs MUST do ALL quests in the starting area. Don't pass any up when offered--you'll just have to make another trip out there.

Agreed, I loved the newbie DK quests. Wonderful islands in a sea of kill x mobs or collect y items quest chains.

Once you get to NR, you'll return to basic matching.
Everything has the same 3 colors (usually blended) and most pieces seem to look incredibly similar. >.<
