At the risk of being flamed, I have to ask; What is it about SV that makes it the best DPS right now? I realize I have a ways to go before I start raiding with my Hunter but the only tree I have used to this point is BM. And for all those who's answer is "Read the FAQ" I did. I will admit I didn't analyse all of the talents in great detail though.

The fact that so much of the tree is designed to massively boost a hunter's ranged dps. If something looks useless, look a bit further down. Odds are it'll come into play and boost your dps.
