Mut and Poison Question.Follow

So I've been leveling my rogue and have been combat pretty much the whole time. Well I've just been having trouble with it and never really been a fan of combat so once I crossed the threshold to outland I figured it was a good time to try out the mutilate builds with some better gear.

Level 59 and still in some vanilla gear and questing greens I was putting up 500-600 mut crits and put out a 2500 evis crit. I cannot believe how awesome mutilate is, so it brings me to my one question.

My current build.

Now I've read the stickies and quite a few guides about rogues and the useage of poisons. But my question is this, at my level and with the overall health pool of mobs compared to my output damage is it necessary to even pick up any of the poison talents, namely Vile Poisons and Master Poisoner?

Dropping Remorseless Attacks and Ruthlessness ( which is more of a raid talent anyway ), will net you a build more similar to this: Linky. Basically, a leveling Muti specc can be adjusted alot to personal taste, but some talents are kind of needed. Vile is one of the good ones, like Imp Evis and so on.

Put on dual wound, and profit.

Dunno, I'd argue that remorseless is an amazing mutilate talent for leveling. Cheap Shot -> Double Mut crit on every pull? Yes please!

I kept remorseless attacks and dropped ruthlessness to pick up vile poisons and went with dual wound.... wow that was a huge difference in how much damage the poisons can crank out with mutilate.

Rate ups for pro advice for a rogue nub.

Blood Splatter? Do you find yourself using Rupture and Garrote a lot while soloing? Deadly Brew instead of 3/3 Focused Attacks?

No and no.

A level 59 leveling build would look more like this. Points in Remorseless Attacks and Quick Recovery are more filler talents, so move them as you will.

Should have mentioned that.

I'm Demea's spec to the T. I had my first actual world pvp spat last night and just rolled this warlock CS/mut/Cold Blood Evis = 4k damage and one dead clothie.

Rogue is such a welcome change for pvp and I can already tell that bgs will be fun for me again since I won't be so reliant upon a healer for pvp. I pvp boomkin on my main and the only fun part is seeing 10k come across my screen when I can get a SF crit off.

Does Typhooning unsuspecting people off of Lumber Mill not count as fun anymore? >:)

Typhooning off of LM is probably the only reason I'll ever level my druid to 80.

Though I'm a resto/feral at heart, I specced boomkin for this :) Totally worth it.

Naw, the fun part is typhooning them off the flag spawn in eots and then having a dk buddy grip them back up to roflstomp their faces off.

But really, the honestly only other fun part is going in pve gear and proccing eclipse and watching a nasty string of wrath crits hit them combined for about 18-21k damage in three seconds.

As enjoyable as that sounds, my Boomkin gear consists of my healing gear (for the most part). Lack of crit percentage makes my Boomkin a sad turkey. Which is all good since my skill at boomkin pvp is nonexistent.
