How y'all doing in wotlk? I haven't been keeping up with wotlk warlocks since 3.0 so I'm curious.

Warlocks no longer spam shadowbolts while watching the tv and get top damage. All three of the specs are more complicated and funner than they were in BC IMO. Still around the top of the damage meters but you have to understand and play the class well in order to get up that high. Because of this it has made it more fun for the people that really like Warlocks however the population of Warlocks has decreased greatly due to it.
Overall, I enjoyed playing my lock much more in WotLK than most of BC, even if the content isn't exactly challenging.

as far as i have seen, WotLK weeded out a vast majority of crap warlocks. there are now pretty much 2 kinds of warlocks now, skilled locks with or without gear. our damage output is still very competative and a skilled lock can top the charts with relative ease even without the greatest of gear. over all its a good time to be a warlock, cheers!
