What pet is best for leveling?Follow

#1 Mar 30 2009 at 4:24 AM Rating: Sub-Default
I have recently decided to dust off my hunter and level him up. I completely forgot how much i loved this class and have no idea why i left it sit forever. From like 44-46 i was using the turtle from WC (Krush i think??) but when i was on petopia i saw konga or w/e immediately flew to BB and took the quest, once i leveled him up too 46 i'd say he was much better than the turtle for questing.

I'm just wondering if there are any better pets for questing/soloing than gorilla's or if there is a post already that says all this. Oh and also how are hunters generally at level 80.

p.s. I forget most stuff about hunters because i've probably only played this character maybe 5 hours since TBC launched lol.

*edit*
I completely forgot i had made an almost exact post on here a couple days ago, just ignore this one.

I don't know why people don't seem to get it! Sometimes it might seem easier just to ask it and hope someone will respond quick, and they do, telling you to go read it somewhere else! Which means you wasted more time when you could have read the hunter guide first.

If you're going to be doing a lot of leveling I suggest you go out and buy a level. Pets don't make very good levels. For one thing they're not flat. Also when you try to press them up against the wall you're leveling they tend to squirm around and scratch or bite you.

I am fairly new to Hunter and hunter forums and when I first started hanging out here I thought you guys were a little hard on new people that asked old worn out questions.

Now that I have been coming here for a few months I totally understand I guess I owe you guys an apology.

I am thinking you should need a password to post here and they should put the password at the bottom of the FAQ, maybe then people would read it.

How about: The thing that you use to register an account on any forum, that you type in the correct letter/number combination to prevent it being flooded with bots?

Why not make something akin to this, with a simple question from the FAQ, before you are allowed to make threads in this forum?

Because no matter what you do people won't read the manual. Happens all the time. The problem with making deterrents for first time users is you lose your customer base on your site. You want sites like this to remain as friendly as possible and easy to access the information and ask questions. Even if your customers are complete dolts you try to keep them, for the most part.

Most people tend to miss and/or skip the obvious. It's just a part of human nature.
