I was just browsing over my tree and wondered: would that talent Genesis increase the amount of damage done by Rake and Rip, and would it be worth the 5 points removed from elsewhere?

It only affects spells not bleeds.
So, Moonfire only? I can't think of any other spell we have that's a DoT.
We have Insect Swarm too.
It also affects Regrowth, Lifebloom and Rejuvination.
Edit: I'm dumb, and confused a spell with a trinket.

This would most certainly explain why I never see it incorporated into feral DPS builds then. Though the wording of the talent could potentially be a little misleading.
Blizzard has had grammar issues for as long as people have been playing.
I thought Genesis worked for bleeds as well. Everyone did until player testing showed otherwise.
