Ok, so I have a bit of money so I dont want to take up 2 gathering. I want to take up a gathering and crafting profession. I am debating either alchemy or blacksmithing. Of course I would take up the right gathering profession with it. My only question is in the long run which will be better to take.

A little about me...I play pve more than pvp. I solo a lot more than I group, and unless I find a guild and do instances with them, I dont plan on doing them often. Ive said this once before and I want some opinions, I feel it is better to make the armor with stat bonuses rather than only being able to use 2 potions with temporary stat bonuses, but alchemy may be better in the long run with health potion use and selling them, any thoughts? Thanks.

From a tank point of view :

Jewelcrafting can make at end game : 1 epic ring , 1 epic for Neck , 2 lovely trinkets to put loads of stamina and face patchwerk as a hatefull strike tank more easily , some gems with ++stamina BOP

Engineering : Once you get enough expertise from items and especially from rings you dont need the epic Engineer helmet.. it can be replaced with the crafted from BS-thing .One engineering trinket with 81 stamina is a poor excuse to pick up engineering.

Blacksmithing:No trinkets but an ability to socket gems is not that bad.The stamina socketed is equal to one Engineering trinket with stamina. Rest of the gear is BOE. Anyone can aquire it.

If I had infinite gold : JC + BS
