There are only two ways that I know of:

-The first one requires a decently-geared tank. Seeing as the Mage won't be able to stealth you'll have to fight your way through, so it'll be longer and harder, especially without any healer. You might be able to just burn down the mobs quickly, but I never tried it myself. Even if it's level 70 content, it's still heroic and stuff hits pretty hard.

-The second one can be done with any level of gear, but you need to be able to stealth to the boss. There's a spot in the room where you can stand and aggro nothing, so you can HoT the DoT statue and let it bring the boss to 5k health, then just finish it off to have the kill credited to you. It takes roughly 40 minutes though. But again, with a non-stealth mage, you can't do that.

So, you'll pretty much have to go with a tank, and maybe you can heal and just run the place normally, except with fewer people. I can't think of any other way duoing with a Mage, sorry.

I 2 man it with an enchancement shaman. He also has zerker on both his weapons which makes it interesting. I play boomkin so I just dps and cc most things. When we get to the boss I just heal.

Build a feral set of gear and wait for 3.1 ;)

I really don't know how I'd do it as a moonkin but if anything in there can help, here's what I did as a feral. For the record, it dropped the first run and I let my wife(priest) have it. I then soloed the place about 50 more times for mine, and now I'm running it several times each week for a rogue friend. Those are fast runs :)

As feral, you can easily solo it if you're heroic geared. If you are running with a non stealther, here's what I do: I stealth to Ikiss and kill it (really easy, you can heal while he casts his explosion). That opens the back door, and you only have a few small pulls to get to Anzu with your friend.

From there, you kill the big group in the door (don't forget you can hibernate a bird and root a melee) and clear the room entirely except the group in the back to the left, when you come from Ikiss' room. Those won't aggro when you fight Anzu, but every other group will.

If there's two of you it will be easy. If you are soloing as feral, use the time when he becomes invicible before the adds come to bandage yourself (healing yourself is dangerous, he'll just curse you mid cast and you'll kill yourself faster than you can heal). Save Survival Instincts + Frenzied Regen for when your health is low and bring some pots and food :)

Good luck, and don't forget to ride Anzu in the lave every chance you get to make him pay for the low drop rate! >:)

This is actually a great tip, I never even thought of that. O_o

I might use it next time some non-stealth guildies ask me to run with them. (Already got my mount, so at this point I don't mind not going alone)

If you're 80, you can skip the first boss entirely, just walk the perimeter of his room.

As feral i would recommend to down all bosses in there.
With the drops u can make a lot of money.
I usually get around 40-50g in one run. (in ~20 mins)
Thats better than any daily there is!

The boss is easily solo'd as a feral - stealth to him, clear the room and then just run the whole fight in bear form - I don't even need to break bear to heal or cast HoTs on the birds.

You're going to have some issues with the mage though - a lot of the stuff will ignore you two but you're going to have some agro on the way through so it wont be nearly as fast for you two.

With a half decent feral set (all LW made should do you since you've got the mage playing DPS) you two should still have an easy enough time - you might need to gulp a heal pot during the fight but otherwise you should be fine.

Happy hunting!
