The subject actually says all. Can someone tell me what does the Impurity talent actually DO? (no need to quote the tooltip by the way /grin). And the followup: is it generally considered a good talent?

Thanks in advance!

All DK spells use a percent of your AP to determine their damage. Impurity increases that percentage by 5% per rank.

Amazing in PvP, kinda worthless in PvE.

Pretty good in PVE for the old DW spec that utilizes Impurity for buffing up HB though. Lots changing in 3.1 though so we will have to see where everything goes when raid parses start becoming available for Ulduar.

Again, I can read this wrong (same problem I had with the tooltip), but let me get this straight:

If a spell has a normal coefficient of 10% (of AP) and I have 5/5 Impurity, the coefficient becomes 12,5% (=10%*125%), right?

It is easy (and dreamy) to read that it becomes 35% (-10%+25%). Would be awesome(ly overpowered?).

I dunno. Would a talent that increased the scaling by 250% be ridiculously overpowered?

The world may never know, because that's a really dumb question.

Thanks RP, really constructive. /smile

Seriously, I think you are correct about the question being a dumb one. Nvm.
