In my experience things with spikes are usually tasty; that's why they have spikes in the first place. You just aren't supposed to eat the spikey parts...

Is that why people went through the trouble of figuring out how to get to the non lethal parts of the blowfish?

I'd assume so. Also blackberries and sea urchins are tasty. Smiley: drool

I'm no fan of sea food. Or anything that lives under water really.

The Scorpions are cool I guess, I'm not a big fan though.

Edit: They did set the bar pretty damn high for most tasteless album cover ever though.

You don't like fish, Aeth?

Also, that rainbow image reminded me of two things.

Oh, and to make it more manly, here's some Ennio Morricone and Clint Eastwood.

I've found that all spiky fruit (with the exception of pineapples) is weird as hell, so you might be on to something.

Lmao, just got an e-mail from BioWare telling me they had to edit one of my posts because I used the word 'retarded'.

That's just retarded.

Edit: If they don't want me to use the word, perhaps they should filter it. They filter everything else that might in any way be offensive. ***** is filtered, for instance. Can't call someone penisface. They're playing with fire.

Edit2: I'm so going to get banned for this. The edit told me to contact customer support if I had any questions, so I wrote them a little letter. I looked up 'retarded' in the dictionary and couldn't resist. I'm also a little drunk.

My letter wrote:
Greetings,

I received a message telling me one of my posts had been edited by forum moderator <name> due to inappropriate language. I read the message and realized that it was the word 'retarded' that was considered inappropriate.

Two things are worth mentioning here:

1. 'Retarded' is not filtered on the forums (obviously, otherwise it wouldn't have shown).
2. 'Retarded' is a synonym for being slow or being an impediment. It is used as a disparaging slang expression for a mentally challenged person.

I used the word in reference to an in-game ability I dislike. I dislike it because it is an impediment to the gameplay of the class, so I used the word 'retarded'. The forum moderator drew the conclusion that I was talking about a mentally challenged person when in fact I wasn't. An in-game ability cannot be mentally challenged as it does not possess a mentality. It is not a person.

I strongly recommend that you inform your forum moderators that words can have different meanings. Take the word 'nuts', for example. It can refer to the fruits of plants, the act of being crazy and ********** One is offensive by your standards (the word '********** is filtered on your forums), the other two aren't. If I said that a certain in-game ability was nuts, would that be inappropriate?

Sincerely,

Maz, I love you a little bit now. That was awesome.

Had my orientation today. That was freaking hilarious. There was me, two other girls with ADD who were both 19, and a dude who just transferred from a bay area Starbucks who didn't speak unless asked to do so. The HR woman was thoroughly entertained all day, I can tell you that much. As was I, lol.

Made a strawberry rhubarb pie tonight. Not great, but good. Went a little heavy on the orange zest, so it was a little too citrus-y, but it was far from unpalatable.

I made too salty food last night.

I can't get a dentists appointment.

I have to give a presentation after lunch. Like, my first presentation in about a decade.

As for spiky food, I wonder how many of you like these things.

Break a leg!

And I wonder if you could use those melons to bitter beer with instead of hops.

Seems to me like it would serve a similar culinary purpose as a bell pepper, as well, and that article does note the similarities. I'd like to try one, but I don't know where to find them in the states.

Uhh, desi shops? That's where you get them easily in the UK...

They are way more bitter than any bell pepper I've had. But kind of nice in a strange (very bitter) way...

That's what I get for being too lazy to actually read the article I guess.

Muse released a new song yesterday! It's called Survival, here.

It's a weird piece for sure, but I like it.
Matt Bellamy never disappoints with his falsetto.

It sounds like a bad attempt at doing something Queen or Abba like. Only instead of being awesome and making me want to sing along this just made it really hard not to click it away.

That song didn't do anything for me.

Their old stuff is still way better.

I don't think it's an official coffee shop unless half of the employees are dysfunctional in some way.

Also, inflation in D3, wow. I bought a level 27 necklace for like 14,000 a few weeks ago. Used it for a while, passed it off to the enchantress for some time, then finally decided to sell it.

It went last night for 450,000. Smiley: rolleyes

Are you sure those two girls had ADD, because pretty much every teen girl I've ever known and will probably ever know seems to have ADD and I just kind of thought it was because of the Y chromosome.

Why this and why that ...
