It's deep how you can be so shallow.

It's funny how people think they're superior because they're too insecure to admit to themselves that they are shallow, too.
You don't care about ***** size but a watch band is a deal breaker, what color is the sky in your world?

You're surprised by that? Smiley: dubious

Also the sky, it's grey here, and drizzly.

I tried to check what color our sky was, but someone put a giant fireball in the sky, and now I'm just grateful I learned how to type without looking.

Sounds like a stereotypical woman to me. *shrugs* I get what you're saying though Kali. Stupid things can be a tipping point for me too, if I'm already thinking about ending things. But having a watch band match shoes or a belt is not something that would bother me at all. Granted I'm not really all that into fashion. I like wearing cute clothes, but I don't tend to think about whether or not stuff matches. There's been more than one occasion where John has had me go change because what I was wearing clashed lol.

It's a nice day out so far. And here I am stuck in the office choppin' zombies into rainbows and sparkles and posting on Zam.

Goddamnit why is shipping across the world so expensive? Cheapest I can find is €59,60 for up to 10kg. Smiley: glare

Edit: Also, the weather here is lame as **** today, switching between sunny and nice to cold and rainy every half hour.

And grats Pigtails for getting the job!
I don't think I'll ever go to Starbucks myself, I just mix coffee, milk and syrup and it tastes awesome.

Yeah, I fully admit the stuff is overpriced, but it sure is good.

Nope, never. There's way too much animosity between the Dutch and German teams and I honestly don't like the way they play. It's efficient, sure, but also boring. I'd rather see Spain win, they at least play offensive and fun football.

Edit: Rawdeal, would you be so kind to **** off already? You seem to have fun with your rather pathetic and uninspired attempts at insulting people but next time if you must try at least be a little original. And I have to say that I am still hopeful that your earlier posts about your son were a lie because I can't imagine how embarrassing it must be to have a father who acts like a dumb, horny 14 year old on the internet, if you are old enough to have an 18 year old child and you still haven't evolved beyond putting a metaphorical frog down a girl's shirt to get her attention I don't know how on earth you ever got to procreate either (no, don't tell. I really don't want to know.)

All the South American teams tend to try to oversell every bump.

Beyond that, I'm apathetic towards the rest of the teams.

Edit: Guess I should mention I'm genetically obligated to root for Italy. Not that I follow or anything.

I was kind of hoping Ireland would pull out a tie, as badly as they've gotten smacked around the first 2 games. I suppose that isn't going to happen though... Smiley: rolleyes

Damnit why are Mikkeller beers so expensive? I'd love to try Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, but €15.45 for a 25cl bottle? That hurts man, that hurts. Also, apparently there's a craft/micro brewery in Germany named BrewBaker who make something called a Fritz Potato Stout, I'm rather tempted to try that if only for the novelty.

Fritz Potato Stout sounds awesome, I'd like to try that one.
Tomorrow I think I'll get some basic beer from my local supermarket, 20euros for 24 beers is a good deal.

Damn... With some luck I can get a 6pack of Duvel here for €6. My cheap go to beers are about €3-€3.50 for a 6pack and I'm not exactly going for the lowest price.

I can guarantee you, that if a girl is interested in you, she's not paying attention to what color your @#%^ing watch band is. Just sayin'.

Trust me, I know that. But there's a big difference between a guy that dresses well and a guy that dresses like a slob. That was the point I was trying to make.

Also, it makes a difference to me. It doesn't matter that no one notices, it matters that I know. It's like when you're sleepy in the morning and you put on mismatching socks and you only realize it when you're halfway into your day; no one has or will notice your socks, but you know, and it makes you less comfortable.

I mainly find it to be a confidence thing. When you're a slob who doesn't know how to dress themselves and doesn't work out, you don't have much confidence in who you are. It's mental. And no girl, no matter who she is, is attracted to a guy with no self-confidence.

You're not into fashion at all, from what I've gathered. Which is cool, but lots of girls are. Or at least they'd definitely notice a guy that dresses well next to a guy that doesn't.

I wish I could show before/after pictures, because it would be way more evident how drastic a few changes in clothes can be. I went from baggy faded jeans, running shoes, and graphic tees to slim tailored dark wash jeans, loafers/Purcells, and blank athletic cut tees and the difference is pretty huge. It changed perceptions people have of me, frankly. Humans are visual in nature, and even if the price tag isn't that different between articles of clothing, fit and color is everything.
#16601 Jun 18 2012 at 3:29 PM Rating: Good
Well, I wouldn't say I'm not into it at all, otherwise I'd just wear jeans and tshirts all the time. I still recognize a guy who dresses well, and one who doesn't. It's just not a big priority for me.
