I watched both of the matches today, and to be honest, in the first match I rooted for Denmark, and they almost had the tie, but then Portugal scroed in the last few minutes.

Ronaldo was so.. horrible today. He did only manage to make one nice pass in the entire game, as I recall.

In the other match. Hollands defense was pisspoor to be honest, and Germany's was far from great in the first half aswell. Germanys offense had plenty of space to work in the middle of Hollands side of the field.
It would have been great if Klose had managed to scroe in the situation where he pretty much charged towards Hollands goalie.

Also, I had a weird dream last night about Theo and Aeth. As a very first in person meeting, Theo brought me strawberry pancakes as breakfast in bed, and then later I met up with Aeth all buddy buddy like and was telling him about it. My dreams are weird.

Don't worry, I don't bring anyone breakfast in bed. I get it brought to me.

I honestly don't remember. I'm more of a visual person, so I rarely remember sounds from my dreams. I DO however, remember finding a strawberry on the bottom of my tray, and taking a bite out of it, only to find out there was a worm in it. Theo found that very funny...

I would probably find it more disgusting than funny.

I wouldn't really find it that out of the ordinary. People have dreams about me all the time. Smiley: wink

Also, saw this on a case of wine today:

I doubt you'd find it as disgusting as the person who ate the strawberry with the worm in it. Smiley: tongue And you should give people breakfast in bed from time to time. Us girls appreciate that sort of thing. It's romantic, and it shows us you care.

I am also thoroughly annoyed with the historical inaccuracy of the setting of the pirate play. On the inside of the script, it says that the play takes place in the late 1800's. What kind of idiot sets a pirate play over 150 years AFTER the Golden Age of Piracy? Especially given one of the major plot points is to try and sell our captives as slaves, and in the late 1800's the slave trade had been all but eradicated? I know it's just a play, but this kind of crap bugs me... *grumbles* I've been spending the last couple hours working on developing my character though, so that probably leads to the irritability. It's sort of a fun process, getting the creative juices flowing and working up a back story and all, but it's also a pain.

I don't think anyone could forget Deli's voice, his accent is so amazing.

Maz sounds American, but so do most people from Sjælland I've met. Maz, you are from there, right?

As for pronouncing three, you could always go for a Jamaican accent... or a Mexican one. I used to pronounce that word with a Mexican accent for ages. Smiley: lol

I said three with a rolled R, like Mexicans, mostly.

Also, hah, now I'm thinking "thirty three and a a third" in an Irish accent.

Æth, thanks (TANKS) for da link. Dat was interesting.

Didn't mean to scare you and I won't do it again, it's always a scary place when the protective shield goes down. It’s a very small world.

'Th' isn't so bad since we use a lot of soft d's in Danish and it's almost the same tongue/lip/mouth movement.

The problem is the 'r' and having to roll it. We generally don't roll out r's, so there's no muscle memory involved. Having three consonants in a row doesn't help either. We have triple consonant words in Danish as well, of course, but to my knowledge, we rarely, if ever, pronounce all three. The word 'handle' (to shop or to act -- it can mean either) is pronounced with a silent d. Same with the word 'endnu' (yet). Silent d and it's pronounced eh-nu. Two consonants.

Danish is very much a vowel language. Especially if you live in the west. One Jutland dialect shortens words down to just the vowels, enabling them to pronounce entire sentences using only vowel sounds. I can't understand that crap, being civilized and all, but they can. Crazy bastards.

I thought so too, but I wasn't sure. Also, How the hell does anyone work day shift? Waking up at 5am is brutal. I miss working afternoons.

I sleep 3 hours a night, don't eat breakfast, excercise 10 hours a day, and can't drink coffee at the moment.

Also, get sick for one day and miss all the drama... Smiley: rolleyes

Also also, I'm finally on hell in D3. Almost got myself killed when I pulled a 4-some of spiders with jailer/desiccator/frozen and a yellow spider waller/fast/something. The game got exciting fast... Smiley: lol

I fell asleep on my prayer mat after lunch. Missed a meeting; was informed that they failed to give me the preparatory stuff for the meeting anyway.
