I hate eating pitted fruit. It's messy, and I always feel like I'm getting ripped off due to how much space the pit takes up in comparison to the actual fruit. White Nectarines are so worth it though... Smiley: inlove

And I really need to work on the new guy and his confidence. He can't even own that he does awesome with metal songs at karaoke. And he really does. His rendition of Bodies is freaking amazing.

Either way, the movies wouldn't have sequels at all if it weren't for Captain Jack Sparrow.

On that note, I want to see more of his dad. Keith Richards playing a pirate lord is just win.
They probably got Keith Richards because he was old enough to tell them about what life was like back then.

Cuz he's olde.

They mainly had him in it because he's a friend of Depp, and Depp based Jack Sparrow's personality on him.

EDIT: I also found a new book to read. Carte Blanche is a reboot of the James Bond novel series (which was desperately needed, even some of Fleming's later books sucked pretty hard) and so far it's pretty interesting if you're into that stuff. Basically it makes Bond a vet of the Afghanistan conflict, and makes him an operative in a post-9/11 world. I like the concept because as awesome as Sean Connery was, Daniel Craig and the Bond reboot that he's brought about has been amazing for the films.

There's something weird going on with the quote backgrounds on the Classic WoW theme.

This is obviously a test.

See?

Or did it always alternate between gray and black?

Hey gusy!

So, I'm sitting here, reading through my old posts, wondering how long it would take me to write the 20k character essay I have to hand in Monday morning for my written exam. Know that feeling? That overwhelming feeling of not wanting to do something that you know you have to do?

I think I'll have a smoke, open a beer and begin the tiresome process of discreetly, indirectly and textually disagreeing with everything my teacher claims is true. It's a slippery slope. I have to insult him and his peers without him finding out.

Good luck Maz!
Are you taking a break from writing tonight to see your national team get wiped off the field by mine? Smiley: grin

Finland didn't even make it past the preliminaries, as usual.
I actually I don't even know who will I root for this year, usually I have been a Germany fan in these football contests but seeing their team concists of non-germans now, I'm not sure.

When I was a kid I used to root for Italy, there's no way in hell I would do that anymore unless they change their style dramatically

You should root for the Dutch, obviously as we're likely to either go down in flames playing beautiful but ineffective soccer or play mediocre and get far but everyone will be hating the team because of the way they play. (See world cup 2 years ago)

Ruud Gullit where are you!

I can't actually remember me hating the Dutch team for their gameplay, but I remember some country that won a few years back with very VERY boring gamestyle, where they pretty much just stayed on their side of the field, playing pass with their team and hardly ever daring to go on the other side of the midfield line.
I believe it was the Greek team.
That was the only time I wanted to throw my TV out the window when I saw them win.

Last time I followed the world cup at all, I was rooting for Iran, only to discover it's a pain to get an Iranian flag, so I went with NL instead.

Coffee goes well with streaming text updates, so I've been told.

Unrelated I really want to change up the build on my Witch Doctor, too long with same old stuff.

Denmark won? Huh.

I had an awesome night out. Smiley: smile'

After a lot of drama about my security and going with outside people, that is. Had a small mental breakdown about that, figured out that I could use this device called "telephone" to fix it, and got to go out into the nice part of town. Seaside restaurant, bihari kebabs... acchaa.

I thought it was a requirement for being European to like soccer? Oh excuse me, football. Smiley: grin

I did my first P90x video yesterday, the cardio one... I felt fine afterwards, but today i am really hurting. >.< I'm walking like I had too much rough sex. Which I didn't, just for the record. Me and the new guy have to cool down for a bit until we can get some "snugger fit" condoms. I guess that's the price you pay for boinking a half Japanese dude. Smiley: sly He's talented in other ways though, so that makes up for it. He actually managed to give me a hickie on my earlobe the other day. i didn't even know that was possible, lol.
