Maybe I'll take a pic and put it on MFA, although they probably won't like it because my shirt has print and is not a polo! :O (White shirt with all the Beatles album covers on the front)

Edit: You also know way more Urdu than I would've picked up in 3 months. Smiley: tongue

You don't know how much Urdu I know. I can barely put together a sentence, especially not one that starts with "I want..." (I need to learn that, hahaha). And I took lessons for 6 months... I've probably learned nearly as much in the 2 weeks here as I have in 6 months of lessons I paid for.

Honestly, I wouldn't pick up enough of a language to form sentences in a few months.

Also, I'm drinking this right now.

Slightly related, it's amazing how easily young kids pick up new languages. I'm a wee bit jealous of that.

Not so amazing how easily young kids pick up new words. God knows how much trouble I was in Saturday. Smiley: frown

Certain words that rhythms with **** escaped the tiny mouth when she accidentally dropped a cup of water.

And I got blamed.

That's going to be a huge problem when I have kids, I swear a lot. Often without noticing until after it's out of my mouth.

Ugh, now that I'm living in the same house with my niece, I have to really work to monitor my language. I mean, I always had to around my parents, but not to this extent. It's really hard...

I learned to monitor my language going to school in the South, religious school, and generally being around religious people.

And my BF is thoroughly ******* with my mind. I don't think I can bear this much longer. Either we need to work something out (although I'm at a complete loss as to how), or I need to end this ... or something. So I might be back to just being engaged and the religious *********** associated with it soon.

I get yelled at for not watching my language around the teenagers in the plays I'm in, lol. Not often, but when our director catches me she yells at me. I might actually try to watch it if they didn't know way more about things than I did when I was their age. Hearing 13 and 15 year olds talk about ***** size is really weird. Although, when one of the guys made the comment that he couldn't believe that one of the other guys was THAT big because he's so short, I got exasperated and exclaimed that size is not proportionate to height, and the girls laughed and were all "omg we love you!" It was funny, but I was also like "What? It's true!"

Edit: Also, I got new pants. They're bright red and slim fit chinos, it's really not metal but they look good on me. ^^

Ugh, that's one fashion trend I can't get behind. My chinos are all khaki or stone.

That does remind me that I need to go to J.Crew tonight for some new chinos. FML. (I've been told by all the girls that work there that I should model for the J.Crew catalogue Smiley: grin)

I wish I could get some new clothes. Smiley: frown Feels like I barely have any clothes that fit right now. I'm in the awkward stage where most of them are either too big or too small.

I'm generally not much of a fan of the brighter colour pants but red works, bright yellow, pink, glow in the dark green and bright orange not so much (Yes, they had all those colours too...)

Awesome, thanks Aeth. :) I was playing around with illustrator earlier, but the pen tool made me angry and I stopped. Smiley: lol

Buy a basic Wacom Bamboo ($60 or so) and learn to love the pen tool. It's frustrating at first but it's really one of the best and greatest tools PS/ID/IL have.

Oh, and here's some Illustrator Tutorials.

omg, I totally want glow in the dark pants! That'd be awesome. Hideous, but awesome.

Oh... Smiley: frown Nevermind then.

I hate it when I get headaches and I don't know why... It just came on to me about 20 minutes ago or so. I've had a cup of chamomile tea and a glass of milk in the last three hours, so I doubt it's a dehydration headache, which are the more common ones I get. Guess I should go pop a couple aspirin and hope that helps.

If I find that I really enjoy the design stuff, I'll think about something like that. I'm learning it purely for the sake of a hobby right now. And thanks for the illustrator stuff. I was trying to use a tutorial set that wasn't updated to the current version, and it was rough.

I know a guy (ridiculously pretty, nonetheless) who likes wearing neon green skinny jeans with a bright purple shirt.

I'm pretty lucky in that I'll be this size for a long time as long as I keep up my 20-30 minute workout ~5 days a week. It allows me freedom to drop some money on clothes that are classics (polos, chinos, designer jeans, etc) and not feel guilty about it.

Yeah, I don't know what the **** is going on in men's fashion. I like bright colors for shirts (and ties on suits), but they don't belong on pants.

Also, got chinos from JCrew today. They may be a little tighter than traditional, but I can pull them off. Girl that works at my local JCrew with an aussie accent said I looked great in them. Smiley: grin

Okay, I looked up pics of chinos, and I don't see how they're different from regular pants.
