Mine is nothing that fancy, and tends to consist of whatever I have laying around the house that can be thrown in with pasta. Last night was leftover ground turkey and some mixed veggies the baby didn't eat. Smiley: lol

I made myself some Kraft white mac and cheese last night, and put canned albacore tuna and spinach in it. It was tasty. I was going to eat the leftovers for breakfast, but my sister ate it. Smiley: mad

I had a ton of fun last night at karaoke. Sang some pretty ballsy songs, and one of my guy friends bought me a drink, which I then got tipsy off of, because I'm that big of a light weight. *sigh* But I had fun, so it's okay. And I think me being tipsy entertained my friends quite a bit.

The only beer I sometimes keep is ginger beer.

Also, I wasn't aware there's multiple people here who are in Seattle.

Yo protein, do you possibly know of any places where I could apply to work?

Ginger beer is good, not as good as real beer though.

Protein doesn't live in Seattle, he lives in northeastern Oregon somewhere. I think. I know he's in Oregon, anyways.

Therion has good taste, he doesn't drink cheap beer or food. Smiley: tongue

Clinical trials aren't just about measuring good results, they're also about measuring bad. With such a small trial, the chances are much smaller that the worst side effects would show themselves, which makes it extremely risky to take them. Not because I'd have no guarantee that it would work, but because I have no guarantee it won't do more than that.

True, if a drug side effect kills 10% of people a 6 person study has a pretty good chance to not bring the problem to light Smiley: grin

There'd be roughly a 53.14% chance of nobody dying so a pretty good chance yeah.

Nono, ginger beer is soda, not actual beer. It also tastes pretty much like ginger.

There is some alcoholic ginger beer though, Crabbies if I recall correctly.

Ah alright.
Today I've been visiting girlfriends grandparents with girlfriends sister and her fiancee.
Oh god, I'm so full of cake it's coming out of my ears.
I don't know how the grandparents usually are like over there, but over here they pretty much won't let you stop eating while you're in their house.
#15440 May 12 2012 at 10:08 AM Rating: Good
I've been trying to find out if the non-alcoholic version of Crabbies is actually properly alcohol free or not.

There are some other beers with ginger that are okay, actually.

About the supplements: 5-HTP at least is pretty harmless. I think there's possible interaction with MAOIs that isn't fun, but Pigtails would probably not be on any ADHD meds if she were on MAOIs.

Countdown stuff: 10 days to go till I move, started packing.

Need advice: Okay, so as you all know, I've been in a weird sort-of relationship for nearly a year now; I have never mentioned this to my family because I was... I don't know, afraid because they don't like Pakistanis? That's what I told myself. It's kind of going weirdly (me saying "let's not get married this summer" was the sort of situation that ruins stuff usually and I honestly have no idea where to go from here).
And then I've got a new boyfriend, about whom I told my mum after less than a month. He's also Pakistani, so the same stuff should apply. I guess he's actually a lot more presentable as far as she's concerned. I don't know. She actually seems to approve. I guess it helps that there aren't a million secrets that I need to keep from the world in this. Secrecy is a pretty annoying thing. Part of this is the NRE talking but it's not like it's got much to do with him that I'm kinda starting to deal with the actual problems in the other situation. Plus, I've been getting back in touch with people from my past & like... hitting on people. And stuff.

I don't know what is what about this at the moment. It's kind of annoying me.

Have you got to talk with your fiance about all that stuff or not yet since you got back from Germany or wherever you were?

Also Mazra, get yourself some Carnegie Porter, it should be both easy to get and reasonably priced for you since it's brewed by Carlsberg and it's pretty ******* good.

I've talked to him. I don't really want to but I think it'd be unfair to just... bail.

He seems to be ok with my proposal (heh), but there's still the matter of the whole thing being pretty impractical.

Basically what I feel like doing is flake, and I've got an easy way out and everything - this is where religion gets involved and staying together would actually mean that I'm dishonest with myself about what religious choices I want to make. But at the same time I don't know if I'm partially motivated in this because it is an easy way out. My brain is confusing me.

Using religion as an easy way out if you want out would be both wrong and rather pathetic.
What do you want? stay together with him and not go entirely the way you want to with regards to religion or do the religious part and break up with him?

Either way, be honest with him about what you're feeling and thinking right now.

Xsarus, just to make sure, you did reset your password, right?

Gonna answer this in reverse order because it makes more sense in my head that way.

I don't even know that myself. Apart from a lot of confusion.

There are a million ways out (like just wait a few more months, in which case he'll marry someone else). It's not even about that. It's about definitions of the word "Muslim" and legal implications thereof. I don't wanna go into details of that, but if he's completely consistent, I'm committing acts that would make me a non-Muslim right now and I'm just not declaring anything that makes the situation clear legally. I'd much prefer if he didn't think of everything this way, or weren't opposed to some views to the degree that they're a dealbreaker for him. I don't want this to be about breaking up at all, I want it to be a decision I make because of what makes the most sense to me.

Just saying that you're confused and why is going to be loads more helpful than not saying stuff because you're not sure. And what does religion have to do with legality? And you can always just ask him why he opposes what you want, may not get you a very satisfying answer but he might think about it.

It's actually a Swedish beer. It's produced by a Swedish branch of the Carlsberg Group. Originating in 1836, the Carnegie Porter is Sweden's oldest beer still in production. The more you know. That said, I'll see if I can't find one at the local supermarkets. If not, I can always have my parents pick one up when they're in Sweden.

Unrelated, last episode of Fringe, season 4, was awesomewin. Glad Fox gave them one more season, though, as crazy **** is happening. Also, Leonard Nimoy.

Also, do you happen to live in the neighborhood of Roskilde? Because Ølfabrikken supposedly makes a great Baltic Porter as well.
