They make that brand of religious person everywhere, unfortunately. It's just harder for them to take Canada's cold, since they aren't willing to warm their bodies with each other. Smiley: grin

I wouldn't ever wear that top. That's just gay.

Oh for crying out loud, I need to stop hitting the reply button 30 minutes after writing the post. I even told myself to not do this in an earlier post.

@Tails:

Does your colleague look like this?

I drank a lot of coffee today. I haven't eaten since 8:30 this morning (and it is now 4:45).

I'm shaking a little bit...

Eat something! Smiley: cool

I'm feeling you though. Just went down and got a 32oz coffee because I didn't sleep last night. I'm wired and falling asleep at the same time.

Is weird feeling.

I'm in class until 9, SIGH. I'm hoping to grab something, if possible, before my next class.

Also, random aside because we were discussing beastiality a while ago, Beastiality was a significant issue for the early Puritan church, as in they were having a lot of trouble in keeping people from doing it. Smiley: lol

The Puritans were WAY more randy than we give them credit for.

Jesus Christ, I just finished a 15-page essay on Albert Einstein's historical significance in relation to historical consciousness. Could have used that essay typer site 30 hours ago.

Every teacher I've had for a course with frequent written assignments since my freshman year of high school has required us to use a plagiarism database. Lucky.

Speaking of sex... I found out today that the manager at work who is 20, he's a virgin, and believes sex should only be for procreation. I told him that I thought God made sex fun for a reason, because he wants us to enjoy it. He said that he didn't think sex was fun. I tried really hard not to laugh, and asked him how he knew if it was fun or not if he's never had it. I didn't really get a response from that question lol.

He also said that if he has kids, he's not letting them date until they're 21. I told him good luck with that. Smiley: laugh

Yup, sex isn't fun, that's why everyone over the age of 14 is obsessed with it.

Does this guy have an extra chromosome or something? He obviously doesn't know what critical thinking is, because even the most devout person I know understands that sex is fun.

And yes, I'm actually getting worked up because your co-worker is so retarded. The sexual repression in this country makes me want to vomit and move to Demark.

So, I just learned that the United States actually has areas in rural Nevada where brothels are legal.

I just wonder if the girls are decent-looking over there.

I learned years ago the USA has brothels in every area where the girls look good.

I don't blame you. I'm still kind of in shock about it, really. What's sad is that he's actually a very smart guy. I don't really understand why he is so closed minded about this one thing. He seems fairly open minded about a lot of other stuff. But I do have to give him credit, he at least admits that it's his opinion, not fact. Of course it's an opinion based on nothing except what someone has told him, but still. At least he's not one of those types that think that their opinion is fact.

I meant to play DA tonight, but I got kind of hyper at play practice today, so I spent my evening practicing the application of stage make up (specifically how to contour and highlight the face), and watching different clips of Grease on youtube. What's kind of sad, is that the best clip of Mooning (the duet I sing with my romantic opposite) I found, was done by a high school. The clips from a production at Harvard, and ones that claimed they were from Broadway, were terrible in comparison. The singing was fantastic in all of them, but the actors in the high school performance were so much better. Plus it gave me some ideas of what to do with Jan's character. I'm still going to play up the awkwardness, but I think I'm also going to play up her lines that can be taken in a pervy way. I normally wouldn't make a character I'm playing so much like me, but with reading the script, it does fit. Smiley: nod

You JUST learned that? I know you're young, but keep with the times! That's been true for at least 10 years, probably longer.

I'm talking legal here. Of course they're everywhere, but it's more interesting if a place like the US (see Theo's post above) has them legally. Smiley: grin

Longer than 10 years. Quoth the wiki: "Brothels have been allowed in Nevada since the middle of the 19th century."

Considering I live just over a thousand miles away from that area, and it's a relatively obscure fact, I don't really see any reason why I would know it. Aside from stumbling upon it when messing around and procrastinating on writing a 7 page paper like I was just doing.
