How to blow 150g and 30 emblems
by Mazra

1. Buy wrong T9 item
2. Put epic gem in T9 item
3. Gemmed items can't be refunded
4. /wrist

Picked up one of these last night (<3 gunship fight)... http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50001

Whether it be a product of the stats on here or just the other items I had available Rawr finally kicked me over to ArPen gems; sent them off to our resident JC to get cut tonight, we'll see how it does. Now if I could just get reliquary to put out I'd be gold (Mjolnir doesn't exist and lol@naxx).

Ticket a GM and you'll get the gem and emblems returned.

My Blizzard, my Blizzard! Why have you forsaken me?

48 hours isn't that long...
It usually takes that long before you get some automated mail and get your good returned to you.

when i lived in las vegas i had mastered the ability by the age of 13 to ride the bus in a "half sleep" state where i was technically asleep but still aware enough around me to know when i had to pull the "let me off" cord before i got to my stop.

course, i missed it a few times in the first months of doing this, which resulted in some long walks to my friends house. but man once i got used to it things were nice. it was like a whole extra hour of sleep!

Here's to trying to tank ICC when woefully under-geared.

48k HP in my stamina set with raid-buffs and some frost resistance gear. Plus I was the better geared tank.

We had a blast. Didn't get the first boss below 80%, but we only took like 3 shots at him. It took a while to clear the trash leading up to him, and we ran out of time. There's potential here!

I'm so spoiled... I got pissed off when my PuG couldn't kill Saurfang. (freaking slack healers and bads getting hit by adds.)

Ouch, sounds like I might have to farm a couple hundred more emblems before I go near that place.

So I was having terrible connectivity issues with my home wifi network. Long story short, I decided to reformat and upgrade to Windows 7 to see if that worked (short answer: nope). Now I am at my friends house where I connect just fine redownloading WoW. It has been going for about 45 minutes and is 22% done. Can't wait for all the patches too...

You know its funny. Our guild was able to do NR Beasts when under-geared by about the same amount (mostly t7 doing a t9 raid, versus mostly t8 doing a t10), but this fight feels different.

NR Beasts felt like it had a lot more avoidable damage that went away as we learned the fight. People got out of the fires, killed snobolds faster, etc. The first ICC fight feels like more of a gear check. The stuff you can avoid, like ice on the ground and bonestorm, doesn't seem to be as dangerous as he stuff you can't avoid. So I'm not sure if we'll be able to get it without gearing up a bit.

Then again it took us 30+ tries on NR beasts, so perhaps I'm speaking too soon. Things will get better once we get the two tanks to stick closer together. We would do okay at the start, and then get a bit separated during bonestorm. If one of us took the cleave all alone we'd be nearly toast. It was worse if a melee DPS happened to be near, they pretty much got 1-shotted. Positioning positioning...

Anyway, you should give it a go Maz, ya never know till you try. Plus the entry trash is fun to a under-geared group, and can be farmed for rep! :D

Long story.

A few months ago I became unemployed. Was ok as the job I lost sucked anyway.

Finding new new has been a ***** and not seeming very forthcoming. Might eventually involve a move, either to the mainland or if I say **** it Asia, this ties into other issues.

Plus to add a kick my roommate is going all Johan. Which is an inside term meaning he is also unemployed and "freelancing" for money while at the same time... How do I phrase this, umm, occasionally getting wonky on his own supply. Which adds another level of stress.

Then I am also dealing with the collapse of a 4 year relationship that is turning into a slow and brutal ending. Nothing crazy just minor hints of reunion that get smashed as they start to emerge. Getting to the point of having to say don't talk to me for a year even though I want you here right now. Which makes just bouncing out a harder move as of now. This could change.

Plus the refugee of WoW is driving me nuts as the guild needs fresh blood as the other main healer server xfer's and the main OT is flaky. So raiding just makes me angry, denying me a reliable means of escape.

The sauce helps.

I want to punch babies.

edit: but on a lulz note, check this out.

So the ArP trinket finally drops in H FoS.

And the Resto Shaman wins it. Fine, his off spec is probably enhance, that's what I did with my shaman.

But the Triumph badge trinkets are better for enhance than an ArP trinket.

Grr...

Bad stuff always seems to happen all at the same time.

Here's something to distract you with. NSFW

Edit: it might actually not cheer you up, but at least it'll keep you busy for a while.
And yes, it's possible. Just keep trying. (You'll understand this after you've watched it)

Been bouncing between my warrior and Druid lately. Jumped on the Druid and did a few pug's. One of the runs was through Heroic UP with the boss on his drake heavy breathing all over you. Drake dropped and I won it, happy days.

Should I use the Haste trinket for Heroism badges if I am using the Glyph of rapid rejuvenation?
