I hear ya there.

Toddler is staying up later these days, and I can't group when on baby duty.

Just do like our healer in heroic ToC5 the other day. Just as we kill the Black Knight in P1, he alerts us that someone's at his door and that he'll be right back.

Panic arose.

lol

Gotta tell the elemental shammy it's time for him to earn his keep: start casting those healing spells!

Baby made a good excuse to ditch the missionaries at the door last night though. "What has your faith in God done for your family?" I don't know!!! Like I want to take a pop quiz 30 minutes before my bedtime. :p

I'd seriously think about moving to Arex's server if they raided at anything close to a time I could raid.

Just as an example.

What time do you have available? Arex's guild has pretty decent raid times.

Aeth, what is the time differential there? I'd hate to think of setting an alarm at 3am to log and raid Eu side. (Even though they should make toons transferable to either US or EU.)

I live in Hawaii.

The time zone shift is brutal.

I don't even like the time zone difference between mainland Europe and the UK, and that's just an hour.

It's only good when jetting back and forth every couple of weeks, for pretending to have horrible jet lags and getting out of stuff.

At least now, I'm the one keeping people up an hour longer and not the other way around.

I'm usually up an hour longer than the average CET citizen, but that's because I'm nocturnal (no, that doesn't mean I dress in black and pretend to be a vampire or some crap).

4-5 hours of sleep every day is awesome. Thank god I'm addicted to coffee.

Sleep deprivation can feel nice. Smiley: nod

Except when I fall asleep on the bus home and nearly miss my stop.

I have to get up in five hours, and I still have 4 pages of Biology homework to do. I should get onto that right now, actually.

So glad college starts so late in the UK.

I am disappointed that Aethien is being reasonable lately. He gave me a good reason to stay up while (supposedly) doing something useful.

Hey, I'm online almost every night. Mostly raiding or doing other stuff though :P
#1313 Dec 16 2009 at 6:54 AM Rating: Good
Don't raid so much! Or something.

Also, haha, I stayed up late yesterday, revising, and for the first time in months didn't even register the alarm at all.

I woke up 6:45 AM with what felt like concrete in my eye sockets. I had to check some mail and write some before I finally turned off the computer, and then I spent 20 minutes getting into bed and falling asleep. It was well over 2 AM.

Fourth day in a row.

About healthy living, let me quote (freely) Denis Leary:

"Smoking takes ten years off your life! Smiley: schooled But it's the ten worst years, isn't it, folks? It's the ones at the end! It's the wheelchair-adult-diaper-kidney-dialysis f*cking years!"

Have you ever thought about how you needed less sleep when you were a few years younger, or is that just me? We're supposed to be all young and energetic, and stuff!

That's all I've been thinking about as I've been reading this thread. I only got 6 hours last night, and I'm tired.

I feel old. :p

I have perfected the art of rapidly falling asleep as soon as I get on the bus and waking just in time to pull the cord for my stop.

I need the extra sleep these days.

Developing story that may only interest me:

The changes to GotEM, and a few new pieces of gear, have conspired to push Regrowth ahead of Rejuvenation if I'm trying to maximize my potential raid-wide HPS in an encounter. Exciting ya?

However, I'm thinking this won't change things too much because:

-It's only about 10% better; probably too close to predict the relative over-healing percentages while in-combat.
-RJ procs Revitalize
-I'll go OOM in under 4 minutes if I Regrowth spam, but it'll take 81 minutes if I spam Rejuvenation (a biggie!).

It's certainly food for thought though. Well for me anyway... :-)

I have yet to ever fall asleep on a bus.
I hate buses with a passion, they're the most horrid for of transport ever.
I'd rather be cycling if the distance is doable, even in the rain.

Ya the bus goes over the mountain. To go around the mountain would add 30 miles to the trip.

Meh, I'd rather drive my Bronco with the topper off around, that way the labs can stick their heads around the side and make people laugh. (The dogs are kinda hard to fit on my mountain bike)

I have perfected the sleeping on domestic flights from when I was a frequent flyer. It works on buses too, about 95% of the time. I hate the other 5%, especially now that my bus ends in some tiny ******* village.

I think it's easier on flights because I just wake up when the pressure changes again. Smiley: nod

I used to sleep on the way to Sydney on the train, cause it terminated at my station (got woken up by the cleaners once!). On the way back home though I could never sleep for fear of missing my stop and ending up in Port Kembla at a bad time of night.

I had a late one last nigt cause my PC crashed while doing an instance last night and half my mods reset themselves including my grid - made healing the rest of the instance a challenge - i'm so used to being able to see all the timers for my HoT's on the grid. I also lost all of my outfits in outfitter and my Pawn scales. I'm sure if I had thought in advance I could have found the backup saved variables files and fixed it, but it was already 2am and stressed about having crashed while healing an instance. Luckily, I have Rawr saved files for Cat, Tree, Bear & Boom with all my correct outfits so they weren't as hard as they could have been.
