I'd feel pressured into using the Force to successfully nail that.

Also, I might start spitting those rhymes in the middle of it.

You've got both kinds of marriages with people who marry after knowing each other 2 weeks and people who take years of living together before they actually decide. This depends on other factors, but at least in the former case it's probably better to have family/whoever check up on the intended partner in advance. For the latter, it doesn't matter which way it's done, I guess.

As long as no one is being pressured into the marriage then I don't see the problem with arranged marriages. I just don't think they'd last longer than normal marriages if done in the western world.

I don't think anyone should marry someone they've only known for a few weeks, not even if your mother/grandmother/aunt/whoever thinks you two'd be perfect together. It's totally fine if they think so, it's totally fine if they arrange for you two to meet but after that, let em figure it out by themselves.

Edit: Also, what Mazra said.

Honestly, I didn't mean that everyone should get an arranged marriage (dear God no!), I just meant to say there's nothing wrong with me finding a girl for my friend if he asks me to. I have access to the girls section in the mosque, after all. Smiley: lol

Wow, I'm engaged to a guy who has never played a Pokémon game. I told him he needs to.

Also, Bulgarian folk-pop is terrifying. Also kind of NSFW (mostly for weirdness of the visuals)

I agree with Aeth (again) that Muse is nothing like Queen. Queen's music was lively, peppy and exciting. Muse's music is just... drab I guess. It's more soothing than exciting.

Okay, so Queen was a bad example. It's the 21st century version of... whatever 70's space rock band you can think of. Smiley: tongue

Muse is a hit or miss it seems. Either you like them a lot or you don't like them at all.

Maybe for most people. Like I said, I don't dislike them, I'm just not a big fan. I don't mind listening to them, but if I have a choice there are a lot of other artists I'd rather listen to.

OMIGOD, I just read that the developers reverted the momentum loss induced on Druids in a patch some time ago. You can once again do the cannonball from Flight Form. Smiley: inlove

You once again keep your forward momentum when you dismount. They changed this in one of the previous patches to fix some PvP issues, but according to the EU Druid forum, they've changed it back - at least for Flight Form.

Oh yeah, they did change that didn't they...I seem to recall trying some maneuver with that and finding the ground coming up below me far too quickly due to where I dismounted.

Glad to know they changed it back, I used to do that all the time in Sholazar.

Until you try to shapeshift out of a root. Smiley: glare

But yeah, definitely one of the little things that are better if left alone.

So this morning at like 10 past 3 I woke up and decided to go to the toilet. Right.
Grabbed my glasses, tried to get out of bed with my glasses in my hand. Fell out of bed. Onto my glasses. Broke them. Bruised my leg.

I spent the first half of the 10:15 lecture gluing my glasses back together.

On the plus side, I now have glue so I'm fixing the brooch that fell apart in December as we speak! Smiley: grin

Kali, isn't fixing stuff one of the most gratifying things ever?

I had a faucet that was delivering an uneven spray of water, so I dismantled it, removed the lime and put it back together again. First time I turned it on, I swear to god, the water went everywhere except down. Apparently I messed something up while removing the lime, causing pressure to be built up inside the filter. So after a week of barely drinking any water, I decided I should probably fix it before my kidneys gave in. Dismantled the faucet, took out the filter and just poked some massive holes through it.

Now it works just fine, but the purity of the water is arguable. I can't wait till I turn it on tonight. They've been cleaning the pipes in the building all day and have warned about "chunks" in the water...

But damn, it feels good to fix something on your own.

Haha poor Maz.

Yeah, I'm quite happy it's fixed.

So today some Pakistanis took my passport D:

Also, multiple people asked me about my husband today. I don't wear a wedding ring, I don't know why people assume I'm married left and right.
