I'm going to need a link to that comic again, I've lost it and don't feel like looking for it

Take a cold shower, then a hot bath. Helps me all the time.

Substitute hot shower, then. The cold is to reduce inflammation, and hot to reduce some lactic acid build up.

I'll try that.
You've made me want to take a steaming hot bath now though, preferably with music playing and reading a book. Oh and some snacks.

edit: and the first time I'll be able to do that is Monday evening, ***** you lolgaxe!

Is that why hot showers work so well? Good to know, that's cool.

My mum has been told my student finance; the loan is so high it'll cap sometime in Yr 3, but that also means I'm getting a higher scholarship (yay!) and will probably end up with something like $3,000 debt at the end of my degree. (This is with conservative estimates how much money I can save up subtracted from the loan cap; I'll probably also receive a scholarship for postgrad and with my loan capped, it's not going to be repayable either).

The only problem is that if I get married legally in Europe and my husband earns more than $35,000 or so a year I won't get any of that money (leaving me debt free, but meaning I don't get scholarship money anymore either). If we get married legally, he's also more likely to make that sort of money... ugh.

Well, at least you are on that side of the pond. I consider myself extremely fortunate that I'm about to finish my Bachelor's Degree with only $27k in debt. My father's a car salesman--the economic slump is really stressing my parents financially (as in, they actually sold a bunch of jewelry, and my dad has been seriously considering cashing in some coins that he inherited from his grandfather).

But NJ says that they make too much, so I can't even get Work-study compensation. They aren't even making double my tuition+room/board, and I go to a public school.

USA! USA! USA!

...yeah, I know I'm lucky compared to that.

I've actually been talking to my awesome economist friend and he's gonna help me find investment options that are low-risk, tax free and halal. Yay.

But yeah, my dad is way below the poverty line, my mum is on something like $15k/year and her husband is on $30k/year - when anything over 15k for parent's spouses means they subtract from what I get... and I still get well over $1000/month till I turn 25. Plus tuition. Plus hopefully a travel scholarship to Pakistan. Plus a Pakistani scholarship... plus accomodation (and apparently probably food) while there. Ehh.

How much rent do you pay, though?

You are lucky Digg. How did you manage to keep your debt that low? If I had graduated on time, my debt would have been about 25-30k and I get a bunch of grants because I'm old. =x As it stands now, I'm at 42k and I still have 4 classes left to finish.

So Aeth... were you serious about the corset thing? 'Cause lookie here. I wouldn't mind a present for my half birthday coming up in a week and a half, just saying. Smiley: grin

Or this one, since it's uber cheap too and a full length corset so I could actually post pics here!

Nevermind, they only have 18 and 20" sizes left of the full size one. =x

I'm very serious about giving you part of a corset for your birthday (a whole corset is kind of out of my budget) but I'm also very broke right now. Smiley: tongue

Also, this one's pretty. (and you won't be able to sit down anymore while wearing one, but that's just a detail, right?)

If corsets do not make you think of boobs you're probably gay. Gay or dead inside, possibly both.

The corset does advertise them pretty heavily.

But there's still something about the corset that reminds me of roast beef.

You need to spend the evening in the presence of a pretty lady wearing a nice corset (and if possible also high heels). Any thought of roast beef will be gone.

Instead you'll be wondering if you could put your beer glass between her boobs and still be able to find it again.
#12776 Jan 29 2012 at 2:26 PM Rating: Good
Maz, you're weird. Any idea why they remind you of roast beef? 'Cause I have no idea.

That green one is really pretty too! I just have a huge thing for purple. I like green a lot too though. That website is amazing. Erik got a couple corsets for his primary from there, one for Christmas and one for her birthday, and he shared the link with me. When I get a job and have a little spare cash, I am so going to get one. Probably one that is less than $50 though.
