Straight A's as far as exams go. If I'd handed in every lab report (I missed one) the lab would've been a B, too. :/

SHOT THROUGH THE HEART, AND YOU'RE TO BLAME! DARLING YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME.

Bon Jovi is pretty cool, really.

Edit: Sucks that Teacake isn't here anymore. Smiley: frown

<3 that song too! And yeah, Teacake is awesome. She needs the memo where just 'cause you don't play WoW doesn't mean you have to stop posting over here.

My cat is driving me up the wall, and my parents too. Now that she's gotten comfortable here, she's starting to bully their boy cats. Any time she sees them, she starts to hiss and if they get close she swats them. The younger one is so freaked out by it he's not eating and not using his litter box. So now I have to keep her in my room, and she's going stir crazy. On top of all that, she refuses to **** in her box. Well, that's not entirely accurate. We have one of those Bouda domes, and she goes inside the box, but sticks her butt outside the entrance and poops right in front of it. She doesn't do that for peeing though, she uses the box normally for that. >.< I don't know what the hell to do with her. Thankfully her box is in my bathroom that has tile, but I'm getting really tired of having to clean up every ****. Especially when she's still getting used to the new food and every **** stinks to high heaven.

No idea of what to do about the cat problem, I guess she's upset about moving? I dunno. The only issue I've had with my cat is that he wants to eat anything edible he can get his paws on. (And he's not starving, he always has enough dry food)

Also, TIL that the most common blood group in India is B positive. I thought it was A positive everywhere.

According to Wikipedia (lulz citing Wikipedia) the most common is O positive worldwide.

With as many As and Bs running around, I'm surprised AB is as rare as it is, actually.

Then I'll dedicate this beer to you. Also try posting more, drinking more beer and singing along to Bon Jovi. It'll help.
Edit: In case you don't have any Bon Jovi on your PC, it starts with Livin' On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name and It's My Life and if those three don't get you happy and entertained nothing will.

So, I just found out that the guy who wrote SOPA is from Texas.

I have never been more ashamed of my state. Yes, I am including the field days the media had with Bush and Perry.

EDIT: Oh hay, Aeth's post right above mine is suspiciously SOPA-related. Didn't realize it before I posted.

Fighting online piracy is a lost battle anyway, there's simply no way to stop people from sharing stuff online in one way or another.
Then again, the USA loves "wars" they can't win and pouring millions and millions of dollars into that (War on terror and war on drugs, anyone?)

Also, I'm so tempted to try this with my ladyfriend but I know that if I try this I'll have hell to pay (and then some).
Edit: Maybe she'd just actually bite down... I don't want that and I'm pretty sure she's capable of doing that. Either that or she'd "play" with her food. Hmmmnnnooo, someone else can go try this.

Lost battle or not, if the bill passes the US is going to fight its damndest. Which is going to be a huge amount of legal trouble for pretty much everyone. Also, what the hell do I do when the internet shuts down for a day? Reddit and Wikipedia are already confirmed to go dark on January 18th.

Try to get 4000 posts on ZAM? And I hope that Google, Yahoo!, Twitter and Facebook black out on the 18th, just because I'm curious about what kind of mayhem that would create.
I don't use twitter but I have reddit and facebook open at all times and I don't think there are many days that I don't use google and wikipedia.

If Google shut down for a day, I'd actually be able to start the habit of using Wolfram Alpha as my calculator. On the other hand, I'd be kind of lost when it comes to some other things. I mean, hey, no YouTube, no calendar for a lot of people, no blogspot, no Picasa, etc., what?

The thing is, most of those have alternatives; shutting down gmail would be huge because lots of universities heavily rely on that.

Also, diglett, I wanted to say that your post up there was awesome! <3s.

I'm debating going to Iran while I'm "in the area". I'm kind of annoyed that Iraq and Afghanistan are not worth the visit now because I would've loved seeing both of them pre-war and I figure if there's war in Iran I better go before it starts. If that fails, there's always India or Singapore, or Kashmir if I'm super lazy... mhh.

You could also go to Bangladesh, Bangladesh has some amazing white tea and great white tea is just to die for.

Bangladesh is actually somewhere near the top of my list for 2013.

And it's actually not all that close to Pakistan. India is kind of huge.

The upside would be that I've got pretty solid contacts over there - but that also means I'll have an easier time finding work next year...

I can't say I blame you really. I love cats, but they can be a major pain. When we originally got Miranda, I wanted to get two kittens because I've read that if you get two cats as babies (especially if they're litter mates) then they will be more likely to get along better with other cats. John wouldn't go for it though, because he really wants a dog and said it wasn't fair for me to get two cats when he wasn't getting a dog.

I'll tell you one thing though, I'm never getting another female cat. Male cats seem to be a lot more chill and friendly. Miranda is just a ***** straight up. We don't call her demon kitty for nothing. Generally she's not too bad, but she has crazy mood swings. I swear she's bi-polar.

I have magic pills that act like coffee for me. Yay ADHD meds! Although really they don't make me all jazzed up. That might be because we're still trying to find the right dose for me though. =x

Also, I really hate pervy old men. Not the cool kind, but the icky kind. Just saw a guy who writes for the local paper, allude that he thinks one of my friends from high school would look good naked. On facebook. And this is not the first time he's done something like this. I am so pissed about that right now.
