On a totally unrelated note.....(which is kinda what this thread is for!)......I bought a new car yesterday!

My new Audi RS6 won't arrive till May though :( Such a long time to wait. For those that don't know Audis, it is a sweet 5L V10 twin turbo :) Hope my licence survives :)

Crusader Orbs took a spontaneous nosedive on my server, coming out less than 500g each, so I splurged and bought up what I need to make a 2nd chest piece for tanking (already have one for dps)...if I can get a good deal on the Furs and then farm my own Eternals, I'll come out less than 6k total cost Smiley: grin

F*cking love my server.
I think orbs are starting to slide below 300g now.

Also, last time I did a raid in blues was... euh... monday Smiley: grin
Did ToC10 with my shaman alt in ToC5normal epics and leveling blues. (and 2x tankard O' Terror)
We ran it with 4 alt dps from my guild in blues/200 epics, it was a pretty nice run.
Probably doing it again next week, 2 runs in a row or something with a few mains to carry the alts to leech loot.

Got my shaman the mail bracers and the MH mace from anub.
Yay for replacing a 226 with a 232 weapon and having to get berserking again.
Still, I did about 3.5-3.7k dps in there so I wasn't ashamed of myself.
And enh. shaman dps is pretty cool, even though I fail at melee dps and totally forgot the knockback the worms do which knocked me into the poison cloud and killed me.

When was the last time your Druid had blue gems socketed, Arex? Smiley: sly

Think about it.

My DK ran Naxx with blue weapons and a trinket. Epic 1h weapons are hard-ish to come by, especially when you need something that's an upgrade from +60 hit rating on the blue ones. I still managed to put out 3-4k DPS, though.

I'm awesome regardless of what I do it seems. I healed an Oculus guild run today and we had zero wipes. I'm just amazing like that. One minute I'm soloing heroic bosses in my tank gear, the next I'm healing a Mage trying to tank a heroic mob.

When I die I want to be cremated and used in the production of vitamin pills. I want to share my awesome with the world.

Edit: OH GREAT! A whole goddam page too late.

BC I was still pretty nub and had blue quality gems for the better part of raiding in BC. Also didn't help that blizzard had to give us the alchemy lab for epic gems. I spent a lot of gold and badges on gems.

Things have changed over time though. It's funny to look back at my guild when we first started in BC. We blazed through t4/5 hit t6 and hit the wall at archi and illidan and then 3.0 hit and we downed em. I look back at some of the players we had and now realize how bad they really were.

Things have come a long long way for this druid.

Well, it's good to see you're having a blast.

My guild is about to fall apart, I think. A couple of weeks ago our top DPS Rogue told us he'd be leaving to join another guild with more progression. Today his girlfriend, who was our top DPS Mage, also left the guild, saying she hated the server and wanted to move to a RP thingy. Presumably with her boyfriend who apparently also left the realm shortly after leaving us.

And now our MT is talking about leaving to join another guild because he's not happy with our current lack of raiding (he wants 25-mans). So that leaves me as the new MT if that happens. Something I'm not entirely happy about seeing as I like to take orders and not give them. And while I could probably leave the guild to follow the MT, I don't want to because I like the people in the guild (something he is also battling with). I originally joined because it was a casual friendly raiding guild, but now that I'm playing much more often than I've ever done, I find that I'm starting to miss progression as well.

Might just have to bite the bullet and speak to the guild leader about some changes I've been wanting lately. Time to sort out the sign-up system and not least the consequences of signing up and not showing up. I still want the guild to keep a casual view on it, but I don't want to sacrifice the raiding.

God, if this guild splits up I'm so leaving the server. Neptulag has a bad reputation these days. It's very laggy (hence the nickname), it's full of Bulgarians (you need to do a PUG with four 12-year-old Bulgarians before you comment on me being anti-Bulgarian, by the way) and it's full of idiots in general.

Bleh.

Kazzak, horde side, seriously.
It's still laggy because it has a high population but it has a pretty damn large raiding scene (both alliance and horde) and it's not that filled with idiots.

I should probably note here that I pretty much never watch movies, so I have no idea who or what he is beyond fat and vaguely recognizing the name.

I also hate the word dude, it annoys me.

And a totally unrelated youtube link because everyone, and I mean EVERYONE should listen to Bigelf:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fpkEsGMOHU

Oh, and set your volume at max and watch in full screen, at least the start.

Or something like that.

My mind is occupied by bigelf atm, there is no need for more than glorious riffs and kickass rock & roll.

If you're a music lover you'll have to watch The Big Lebowski, it has Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers in it.

It's so hilarious, John Goodman plays Walter Sobchak and my god he's hilarious. They just feed off the stereotype he plays.

I've watched The Big Lebowski about three times and while it's a good movie it never hit me as an awesome movie. John Turturro does an excellent job as that creepy Jesus guy, but the movie never catches me. The first time I saw it I couldn't handle the Dude's pacifism and I kept waiting for him to snap and reveal a secret past of kicking *** and taking names. He never does, though. People just kick him around all the time.

Meh, I see why it's turned cult, but I don't think it's an awesome movie.
