Galen has killed Anzu so many times that come Patch 3.3 Blizzard will edit Anzu's opening speech when he is summoned to:

"They're very persistent."

Oddly enough featuring Arthas's voice-over.

Galen and I got our bloodsail titles last night.

He's my feral killing machine fueled by hots.

Later this week I'm going to forcesuggest we work on our Guardian titles.

One more run of Setthekk and I will be honored with Lower City, then Zoiks can start on the countless runs for Anzu. Hopefully I don't have to do 100+ like Galen tho...

I haven't worked on my feral gear at all for weeks now, been working on my balance stuff, hopefully I don't get my butt kicked in setthekk heroic.

Edit: Did my run and got the key, went back in but only got up to first boss before lunch break ended and I had to go back to work :( No major hassles with the gear I am in :) I only get to 28k hp in bear form, but I am staying alive. Might try to get a run in tonight.

Speaking from experience, do yourself a favor and clear the entire room before summoning him. I cleared half the room and pulled Anzu away from the two remaining groups, but when he summoned those birdies it also pulled one of the two trash groups and I suddenly had birdies and four elites pounding me. I was pretty unfortunate because the group setup was 1 Talon Lord, 1 Big Bird, 2 Prophets and then those birdies. Anzu screeched and stunned me. Then the Talon Lord stunned me. Then the Big Bird swooped and stunned me. Then a Prophet feared me and idiot me used Berserk just before I got stunned the first time. That's like 30 seconds of being unable to do anything.

I died. Smiley: frown

Old habits die hard I guess, plus I wanted to see how I went in the gear I am in atm. I might have to go run H ToC to get some more gear for my feral spec and put some enchants on it.

It's such a shame that Anzu isn't a flying mount as well. I got the Mammoth from the shards a few nights back and it is such a nice change from the Kodo.

Boots of the Unrelenting Storm... Hello sexy boots!

We had probably the most fun ToGC ever tonight.

39:33 long faction champs fight. Yes, we almost went 40 minutes. It came to the point where we waited out for bresses to take down the last 5 in faction champs and Galen and I ended up getting res'd. We both were killed again, but downed the god damn boss.

In a few days I'll be able to get the SS of the end of the fight to show you guys, it was hilarious.

I remember our second Champs fight (10-man). It was a tough setup with some nasty healing classes and we came to a point where it was basically a Mexican stand-off. They were outhealing our DPS and we were outhealing their DPS and no one lost mana too fast to regenerate. Basically could've gone on for hours. Then our MT and RL threw in some hipshot tactics and our two top DPS instantly folded, but we got them down eventually. Smiley: lol

Good times.

I got a new staff.

I like getting new staffs.

But I need to figure where to stick a new JC gem since I went Agi/Stam on staff.

So far am leaning towards chest.

I need a new staff badly.

We're doing Ony10 tonight and I'm hoping the Shadowstrike, or whatever its name is, will drop for me. If a Hunter rolls on it I'll stick it so far up his *** he'll have thunder coming out of his nostrils for weeks.

The hunter would be better off with the Thunderstrike anyway, tell them to give you the Thunderstrike, make your Shadowstrike, and then trade the Thunderstrike back to the Hunter. Everybody wins.

Tanking while tanked is fun.

Healing while tanked doesn't work. I put hots on everyone then wonder why my finger slips onto my NS+HT macro and heals the crap out of someone, and then why it isn't available when I need it.

That took way too many attempts to write properly.

You made a funny. Or a mistake: Thunderstrike has stats suitable for feral tanks (and DK tanks, incidentally) - high expertise and stamina - while Shadowstrike has stats more suited to non-melee hunters and feral dps.

You probably just muddled the names - Shadowstrike is what drops, Thunderstrike is the one which is summoned.

Yes, you're right. Funny how I got their roles exactly right and just mixed up the names.

I had a paladin a few days ago who was self admittedly stoned off his rocker in H-UP; he kept Beaconing the Warlock. Smiley: lol

Brings back memories of an old BRD run. I was the healer and pretty much everyone except the tank was wasted beyond belief. During a pull I find that I'm healing myself and not the tank, the Rogue is running around in circles, the Hunter is running into a wall and the tank is writing profanities in the group chat. The fifth member was a Warrior Dwarf we brought along because he was funny. He proceeded to run to the pulled pack, run straight through them and continue on to the boss (the elemental guy).

Man, I don't remember how many times we wiped in there before the tank split, but he should've quit earlier - for his own good.

Last week we managed to finish of ToGC Icehowl with only our rogue left alive, evasion tanking :) Gogo dots!!

Last night I was listening on vent to our 10man team doing ToGC. Oh the tank rage going on when the pally managed to DI him twice in two attempts by mistake and wipe the raid :) So much funnier when i'm not in there dieing and having to do it again :)

I got two trophies tonight; I'm still a number of badges off spending them, but trying to figure out what's best...from what I can gather in Rawr, it seems Head+Shoulders would be preferred, and swap my old conqueror's nightsong hands back in to keep 2t8+2t9. Oddly enough it doesn't favor 4t9 when two of the pieces are 232. Kind of kicking myself for buying them, but I was still using 200 shoulders, got tired of it Smiley: tongue
