The chances of that happening are very slim after I gave up mixing beer with hard liquor and soft drinks.

People seek different things from religion. Some prefer to be guided by it, others prefer to merely use it as a moral compass. My main issue with religion - all religion - is that it's too metaphorical. It's the spawning pool of pious fanatics who aren't able, or don't want to, read between the lines for a more accurate interpretation.
If all religions converted their "Óur god is the true god, you shall have no other" into "Please don't stray from our rules if you want to be one of us," you'd have a lot less retards killing each other over it. Same with the whole heaven and hell thing. If someone, somewhere in the scriptures, had added a little note, saying "By the way, we're referring to your life here on Earth, not a place in the sky, or below the surface of the Earth's crust," we'd probably have more people actually seeking out those things instead of killing each other because they think they'll go to some magic Disneyland where the rivers are made of honey, angels play on harps and sh*t.
That's why I think organized religion is bad: Because a lot of people come to rely on a few others to interpret the ideology of the religion and present it to the rest. If those few others are flaming @#%^wits, which history shows us they are, then a bunch of people are going to be equally flaming @#%^wits, simply because they're unable to form their own opinions on anything.
It pisses me off! Bunch of sheeple ruining the world.
