I have 9 lectures a week. Of those, two are thermodynamics/kinetics and three are maths for physicists and engineers. Yeah.
I met my Urdu teacher. He's got one of those Muslim hats and runs around in a sherwani. Totally impressed.
Lessons with him will cost me £100 a month, though. It's a really good price (£12.50/hour, plus preparation time), but still! It's not very nice.
It's just a wee bit odd when you have to start arranging your lessons around prayer times... I need to print out prayer timetables for the next couple of months.
And eh, I left the burette open last week and drenched the wooden stand in chloroacetic acid. Chloroacetic acid destroys wood, apparently.
The main issue with my lab partner is actually that she can't do basic maths and that she misses half of most lab sessions because she does French, as well, which apparently takes priority. To be fair, I've turned up to barely over 50% of lab sessions so far myself, but that's mostly because I get lost and because I was finished super early (read: at the end of the first session) last week.
