Just from messing around with Rawr, the difference between crit rating and haste rating is always pretty small. At my current gear level, crit is valued at 1.52, haste at 1.49. With pretty much BiS from ToC/ToGC, crit changes to 1.49 and haste to 1.52.

the lessons that we learn from faildruid are of such great importance that they cant be repeated too many times.

Guild merger. DKP went ker-flush. Also, fail-druid from other guild was asking for someone to cut him +20 Str gems.

Upside: hopefully we won't cancel any more raids because not enough people show up.

Downside: Other guild hasn't cleared anything in ToGC, and doesn't have any keeper hard-modes. Yay for wiping in Ulduar.

that sucks astarin :(

my guild aint doing much better...ever since the death of my friend things have been dead. a few people have cancelled accounts, or just stopped playing, citing the reason of "they just dont feel like it anymore."

i call ********* theyre still reeling from the death imo, and their way of dealing with things is apparently to cut off all social contact. i love my friends, i really do, for all of their social ineptitudes.

So, I ran ToC 25 man twice again today.

On my dk, every piece my druid wanted dropped. I literally had a **** fit. Then the cherry on top was this. My DK is dw frost and I ranged from about 4.3k to 5k dps on him. He's an alt but he's pretty well geared and I play frost well. I have a 232 and a 219 weapon on him. The 245 one handed axe drops off anub. I think awesome, except I remember that we have no rogues so one of our ret pallies switched mains for the guild so we had a full time rogue.

He gets first dibs on all gear right now to bring him up to speed.

I died a little on the inside.

But, the night did get better. Blade of Tarasque dropped and I got it. I also got a new belt off of twins. Then, to make everything better on Anub in the mix of mains and alts we run in our 2 25 man runs the mace drops.

I'm the ONLY main that can use the spell power mace. Since I hadn't yet enchanted the blade I was able to give it to someone else and get the mace instead, which is about ten times better than the blade.

Also! I did my first testing of the 4 piece t9 bonus. Near 17k starfire crits are nice but the rng plays way too much factor in my dps and I don't think I like it. So I'm going back to my 2t8 2t9 and min maxxing around my new gear.

Min/Max sucks ***, it's entirely way too expensive.

look at my gear...I cry a little inside when I realize I have to balance around hit rating, new gear, and the fact that every single thing I need as an upgrade either will not drop, i will lose on the roll, or I won't see for another month probably >.<

Our 10 man ToC was light night.

We sharded 90% of the drops. It was all plate and the pallies that came either had them all ready or had better.

Well, I can turn the emo off a little bit. I was in ToC 10 last night, Gloves of the Silver Assassin dropped. I lost the roll to a rogue. He was in 4pc t8.5. I was like...really man? really? You're not gonna break that set for these gloves.

On the next leather drop, it was the chest. I already had it so he got that too since we were the only two who could wear it on main spec.

We got to anub and he gave the gloves to me. Said I was right, he wasn't gonna break that set till he got heroic TOC gear as it wasn't a dps upgrade. I thanked him. We pwned Anub.

About an hour later he whispers me to do VoA 25. Keep in mind I didn't know him before this run. So I go, he beat me by 10 dps on Koralon (I had gemmed/chanted new gloves as well as switched from shoulder/chest t9 to shoulder/head to put me back at hit cap instead of like 85 over)

I did 7,159 dps, he did 7,169 dps. We both were at 7.1% damage done. We chatted, I beat him on Emalon, he beat me on Arch, we did 10 man. I had to tank Koralon, beat him on Emalon, he beat me on Arch.

At this point this other guy I knew, who was in a crappy guild, went to a good guild, got geared, left server to be in the guild that does the tankspot videos, geared even more and is now back on my server started trying to recruit us both. He apparently brought some people back and was making a new guild on the server. Sniping out of all the other guilds and grabbing all the misfits who do craptons of dps but have a bad attitude. I don't think I'm down for that volatile environment.

Anyway I'm gonna end this boring story with flexing my e-peen for hitting 7.1k dps even if it was a stand still fight mostly.
I really can only use ring and feet from TOC 10 now, can upgrade a few pieces with minimal gains in ToC 25, and then into Heroic ToC for me...

Just a random gripe...

but I'm hating this change the US made to daylight savings time right about now. With us still +1 hour ahead of the rest of the world its becoming a pain to coordinate raids. Basically we get 1 less hour of raiding a night now. This is becoming the pits for my gear, and I bet we'll be stuck at faction champs until November.

Other then that life is good. Well as good as it can be when I'm at work...

GM: In an effort to improve raid attendance and get back to making progress in ToGC, we're merging with a new guild. They only raid 3 nights a week to our five, so we will be dropping our Sunday raid from the schedule. This should also help with people getting burnt out on raiding.

Guild: Yay, a night off!

GM: We have decided to run 2 ToC 25 groups by adding in some alts. This will help more people get their i245 tier.

Guild: Yay, l00tz!

GM: We will be running the 2 ToC groups outside our normal raid schedule. Either around 6 EST when a lot of you are eating dinner, after midnight when a lot of you are in bed because you work early, or on Sunday... the night I just said everyone could have off. We will also run VoA 25 and Onny 25 at these times.

Umm... WTF? We're raiding 25s outside the schedule just so we can burn all out ToGC attempts in 2 nights and redo some Uld hard-modes? I'm pretty sure that won't take all 14 hrs we have scheduled for raiding.

GM: Hey, anyone wanna do Naxx10?

Guild: Yay!

GM: Well, not enough signed up.

Guild: Aww.

GM: Let's make a heroic farm group instead, get drunk and do silly stuff on Vent.

Guild Yay!

The joy of being in a social guild. Smiley: lol

Drinking > raiding, in my opinion.

I push 50k raid buffed for a 25 man and around 45-46k in a 10 man.

edit: Almost 30k unbufed in caster form.

Same in my guild, at least for our DK and warrior tank. My tank set is kinda behind, since it's really just my DPS gear with a few different off-pieces and a different weapon. Even with that, I think I have 35k health with no buffs.

Tanked Jaraxxus with 47K HP in a group with no spell interrupts, but that was with my stam heavy gear. We showed up and had one of those Oh s#!% moments when going over the fight. We knew we were forgetting something... ;-)

So, our feral druid is tank off spec. He's in mostly 232+ ilvl tanking gear. He also has satrina's impending scarab.

Well one day he was raid buffed and went into his tank spec, threw his tanking gear on and then popped the scarab and survival instincts.

80,000 + hp later it was pretty retarded.

Just 10s. Though it'd be quite funny not to have any interrupts in a 25 methinks.
