In another news, the guild I am finally beat Sinestra down, after 3 days worth of attempts on her. I participate in most of them, but was replaced yesterday by some other people. We had 3 Moonkins in the raid and the raid leader wanted to attempt some other configurations. As I am the newest Moonkin in the group and the less geared, I was the obvious choice, though my dps wasnt so behind (was in top 10 most of the time). Anyway, they eventually killed after changing some people in and out, changing healers, bla bla bla. Hopefully, I will be able to kill her next week with them. IMHO, it's not the hardest fight, but it's the more punishing one. You simply can't fail, not even a little bit. Everyone has to be near perfect, otherwise it's a wipe. But it's not the harderst one just because it doesnt have so many things going on and is quite repetitive. Phase 1 and phase 3 are pretty similar, phase 2 is pretty stupid. Once you get how phase 1 works, phase 2 is a cake and phase 3 will need some minor adjustments.
After we killed her, we went to some farm content before the end of the night and I did Heroic Omnotron for the first time. My opinion? It's way, way harder than Sinestra. So many things going on that there were sometimes where I was pretty much running around like a headless chicken, haha. A fun fight, but man, so many **** going on. I caused one wipe on it, because of freackin Starfall hitting the shield (I was used to GoFocus, but had it changed to GoInnervate for Sinestra). In the end, I ended up with 17k dps on that fight. Not so bad for the first night seeing it, I guess.
And when I saw the combatlogs of the fight, I finally figured out why pigtails decided to go shadowpriest. The top dps was a shadowpriest with 40k dps. He`s pretty much a beast dpsing, never saw anyone dps like he does, it`s pretty amazing, actually. He is always, in every single fight, the top dps and by an enormous margin. In this fight, the second top dps was a hunter and the third was a moonkin. They both had around 36k dps.
