I'm a bit late with this comment, but I usually get asked for ID when playing slotmachines. I'm 21 and the agelimit for those are 18.

Also, nothing better that coffee in the morning. Moment of bliss.

Last time I got ID'd going into a pub the bouncer apologised to me afterwards. I was in my late 20's! Sigh, that makes it over 10 years since I was last asked :(

The age limit on everything here is either 16 or 18, and I get ID'd at 23.

Same here and I think almost all stores have a policy of IDing anyone they think is 20 or younger.

Around here, it's "Under 28" I think. That said, on party nights most bars will card every single person that goes in, with a bouncer outside, including old people. It's just safer for them that way, and they save more money paying the big guy an extra wage than by getting fined.

Plus, their license to dispense alcohol doesn't get taken away.

When I was 13, I had to convince a bus driver that I was in fact a minor and didn't have to get an adult bus card.

I always keep some ID on me, but I've never had to use it.

Yeah, both Kali and I have the problem that we're pretty small. once you get past 6ft people won't card you as quickly anymore because length is automatically associated with being older.

I don't believe they measure things that short. I hate being 6' 6", but at the same time I love it, I've been able to buy Cigarettes since I was 14, and alcohol since I was 16. I used to make a bundle selling **** to underage kids at highschool. I never sold them Alcohol though, I wasn't that interested in getting charged with supplying minors with Booze.

Yeah I have that issue too. Being barely above five feet tall will do that. I have an acquaintance that's actually a year or so younger than me, but I always forget and think she's older because she's huge. She's six feet tall, plus she has three kids. Even though I have quite a few friends from high school who have kids already, I can't help associating that with people who are older than I am. I'm 27, I'm too young for kids damn it!
