So I drank the La Trappe Quadrupel last night, I've had it before and it's something quite different. It drinks more like wine than beer and it's a very complex beer. Delicious and you can take a long time to drink it. Plus it's Dutch beer! ^^
The Guinness was kind of disappointing, it felt watered down and not as creamy or strong as it should be. I won't be buying that again anytime soon. (Such a shame that you can hardly get Guinness here)

And since I've bought myself some Gorgonzola I'll try the Gulden Draak tonight. Smiley: smile

By the way, is anyone here familiar with German beers? I think it should be doable to get some good German beers here but I don't know really know much about them.
And I should see if I can find a good shop that might have some of the good American brews. Even on the internet I can't find much more than Bud...

All I know about German beers is that I know 3 brands that are less than 40 cents and don't make you gag.

Also, Gessner is decent and the ones my stepfather drinks are genuinly good but I'll be damned if I remember the name.

One doesn't drink 40ct beer until one is too drunk to taste the stuff. Smiley: schooled

Yep, that's why you start out with vodka & red bull.

Or amphetamine.

God, I was such a bad person. :(

I've been enjoying gin and tonics with a bit of lime lately. I made ice cubes from the tonic water, and that adds a nice touch.

That is my preferred drink when I travel. Nothing says I'm on a plane like drinking a lot of gin.

Gin is not the correct drink to introduce people to alcohol. It was amusing though.

This is awesome. Every time I post now, when I read my post to make sure I didn't make an error I'm filled with a great sense of a relaxed fuck yeah. My post has been approved.

This is very true, gin drinking is definitely advanced drinking.

RIO! Have you heard Black Dahlia Murder's new song? If no: Go listen to it. If yes: whatcha think of it?

Priest is level 84 now... so close! >.< Also, I forgot how ******* annoying having to wait for the zeppelin to TH is. And to get through the attack and finally land. That took probably close to 30 minutes. 30 minutes of me sitting around twiddling my thumbs. *grumble*
#5491 Apr 29 2011 at 4:18 PM Rating: Good
Yes, gin is nice. <3

The whole starting out with vodka and red bull thing was a good number of years ago, btw. I don't drink 40 cent beer anymore, either.

Should I be worried?

At first I was like, "Wha'chu talking 'bout, Willis?". Then I passed out from overexposure to awesome. It sounds more like more of the same from Deflorate, which is damn good, because that was an excellent album.

Also, I just got a Logitech G110 :D

Scotch & Coke is my poison of choice (other than a nice red wine!). I would like to drink it more straight or with ice/water, but my stomach tells me in no uncertain terms that it isn't an option. Maybe if I actually took my Nexium and stopped drinking so much coffee and coke I could do it, but I don't think i'm wired for a caffeine free lifestyle...

What does it climb to under load? That will tell you if you should be worried. It doesn't seem extraordinarily high, but it isn't low either.

It climbs by 8-10° when I put it on my desk (after a little while) - more if I actually use it.

It automatically shuts down at 105°, which only happens when it's on my desk and... being used. It's happened three times thus far.

Also, for caffeine in your life, drink Irn Bru. <3

If it's getting so hot it shuts down when under use then I would be worried, yes. Are your fans working?

As long as it's off the desk, yes. If it's on the desk, they're against the wall because I'm denied the other desk for some unfathomable reason. :/

Yeah if it's shutting off it's cause for worry, as it's hitting the danger threshold configured into the hardware. 80 C is a wee bit high for idle to begin with, and if it's a laptop (as I infer from your commentary) it's definitely going to get a lot higher under load, too high to be safe.

I think I like it better than Deflorate songs actually, it flows better. And I don't think I'll ever get bored of the twin vocals.

Also Kali, what have you been doing to make your laptop explode?

woo hoo! Got the priest to 85 and I've been working on farming dungeons on her all night. I got all the JP regular randoms done before she even hit 85, so as soon as she dinged I was able to get a necklace and start heroics with all the gear I've bought for her. Gotten a fair amount of upgrades so far too. The main things I need to upgrade now are the bracers and wand, both of which are still green. >.<
