It's true, I don't wear much red. But until they have a black coloured rank, red'll have to do.

Me too. That's the thing about Druids, once you have one you suddenly feel the need to have like four or five of them. But it might take my new Druid a while to get up there. I'm having way too much fun on the lock right now.

I'm a Shadowfury addict it seems... Smiley: disappointed

Meh, I have a druid but she'll be my 6th character to make it to 85, if she even gets that far.
She only has feral gear and since I don't like cat and already have a protadin at 85 I just don't see much point in leveling my druid.

My druid is still sitting at 81 somewhere in mount Hyjal.
I only level him through battlegrounds, mostly just log on to do the daily random battleground on him and then switch to another character.
Maybe someday I'll step it up a bit and start doing a daily random dungeon aswell.

Boomkin spells look awesome.

Ya i moved my druid to horde to play with my brother, but decided to level another to play with my friends on the ally side as well. I may level a 3rd and 4th so I can have Boomkin/Resto, and Tank/Cat on each server, as my main is all ready looking at 50G respec fees and I don't want to see how much higher it can go.

I want to say my warlock has been sitting at about 66g on respec fees for a while. I'm endlessly debating what to do with the 2nd spec; I don't know if I want a second PvP spec, a PvE spec or a dungeon soloing spec. Good thing is I think I have the gylphs for all 3 now. 70g for a respec is nothing compared to 400g to buy a new set of gylphs... Smiley: rolleyes

They may patch the game now.

Yep and EVE and FFXI (not at the present due to some CC issues and SE's complete lack of alternative payments.) I play them all pretty casually however and tend to rotate the "main" game every few months. Jut got back into WoW though, since I only got Cata about 3 weeks ago, and there wouldn't have been much point playing prior if I only had wrath.

I can't decide where I fall on EVE. It's fun, and I like the depth, but the lack of a compelling story-driven single player is kinda meh.

[EDIT]

And Aeth, your pic appears to be in another language. Please fix and try again. O:)

They did an overhaul of the tutorial missions a while back and fleshed out the storyline somewhat. You now start in deep space in a rookie ship of your faction where you learn the basics, then you warp to a station and do some basic missions, after which you are handed over to the career path agents.

You can choose to do any and all of the agent mission paths, each giving you ships, skill books and other stuff in the process. After doing them all (I believe the paths are Mining, Trading, Exploration, Military and Advanced Military), I had some five million ISK in the bank and every ship I needed to get started with my career choice.

After finishing one of the career paths, you get directed to the Sisters of EVE agency somewhere else, which will take you through a so-called epic story arc. I'm on that one right now and so far it's pretty interesting.

The only downside EVE has right now is the somewhat slow pace. Fighting is fine, but flying around and all that takes forever and is all point-and-click. It's still not really user friendly compared to World of Warcraft or most other MMOs, but unless you're a window licker, you'll pick it up pretty fast (Rookie Help chat channel is awesome).

This reminds me, I have to log on and queue up some more skills. So close to being able to support four railguns on my cruiser. Smiley: waycool

I'm actually doing an Eve trial right now. I did all the tutorials and am on my Sisters of Eve mission arc.

I've been trying my hand at mining, but it kinda sucks on the trial. You can't train industrial ships on trial accounts, so those ones I got as rewards from the tutorial can't be used. That leaves me in a kinda crappy position to do it, because I only have like 340 m^3 of cargo space, which isn't that great. And my mining lasers can't handle the rarer asteroids. Actually, ironically, with current prices Dense Veldspar is the best asteroid to mine in the area I'm in (Arnon--Gallente).

My destroyer would be much, much better for mining--more space, more slots for expanded cargo AND the ability to actually have some guns with my mining lasers. But it's 9 jumps away. I dunno if I'm willing to go get it...

(Note: I was mining because I spent a fortune on skill books and implants. :P I'm down to like 1 million ISK).

Talking about mining....what do you guys think about minecraft?
I really don't see all the fun and hype people are having with this game. I mean, you can build anything that looks like horrible pixels.
But...yeah, horrible pixels. What's the fun in that?

Its addictive and fun, to a point. Gets stale but it is def worth 20 bucks or w/e it is. As for EVE it is weird it is fun when it is active but when its not (the corp, guildlike thing) it can be boring as sin, and due to he nature of the game associating with Corps outside your alliance is strictly a no no.

In short: Minecraft is AWESOME.

The long version:
Vanilla MC is really entertaining, and can keep you occupied for quite a while, especially if you play it with friends. It helps if you haven't watched like 50 episodes of a lets play before actually playing the game as well, because it can be really interesting trying to figure stuff out on your own, crafting recipes in particular.

The actual game itself barely gets any updates any more, and if it does, it's rarely content-related.

That's why the real bread and butter of the game, lies in the ridiculous amount of mods the game has.
From guns, to breeding horses, to flying on dragons (or horses). There's mods that basically add more recipes to the game than there already are, and people keep churning them out so even when you get burned out, you eventually find something really original and entertaining.

Another thing to keep you occupied are User made maps you can play. Anything from puzzle maps (which can be difficult as hell, believe me) to adventure maps. There's also a mod (made by the guy that made Recount, love it or hate it, he's good :D) that's being heavily developed right now, with which you can create amazingly complicated and fun maps to play on, and to be honest I foresee this actually getting integrated into the game itself. I have a post about it in the Minecraft forum thread or whatever, if you're interested you can check it out.

In summary:
I've been playing the game for around a year now, on and off, and I can't say I regret paying 10 Euro for it, mind you, this is one of the few games I've actually paid for I mean bought, (cough, cough) and I'm sure you could enjoy it as well.
Edited for user-friendliness D:.

Since shuttles are so cheap and quite fast (Gallente Shuttle, 9K ISK, caps at 575 m/s and warps at 6 AU/s), I decided to just go and get my destroyer. :P

I think I actually like Frigates more, because they are so fast, but I do love the Destroyer's large cargo-bay and massive turret points. I'm currently favoring the Tristan. 2 Turret hardpoints is hard to take, but it's suiting my needs for the moment. Of course, that wouldn't be so bad if I actually got around to training rockets...
